“What is and what will never be? The pitch black night with a wish to see. Each part of the image is made part by part with light, like time travel with a long exposure. One image consists of stacked moments of sweeping light, creating a Photograph never visible during the making. Entering the physical world with photographs is exciting. It does not matter whether it is a transparency or a nice silver print. Something that was once an idea and feeling in my head is now manifested on something touchable, that is some kind of magic. The Feel-O-Meter will help you choose the best board for your personal style. We highlight three key factors to help you determine what kind of ride you’re looking for: Flex, Maneuverability, and Camber.

Our Fresh Deck topsheets give DC boards the same poppy feel you get from a new skate deck. This technology adds a snap and life to the boards that you can get only with select natural wood. Sure, they look pretty but these topsheet laminates deliver pure performance, backed by several years of testing and development. The wood is sealed to protect it from the elements to maintain its new, naturally poppy feel.

By engineering a unique, arch-shaped profile into the wood core, the layers of fiberglass take on a completely new geometry, like that of a bridge. We’ve integrated this “arched fiberglass” shape into the anti-camber zone to give the boards more pop and added resistance when flexing the tip and tail. This also gives our anti-camber boards the stability of a traditional camber board.

By taking 3º of angle off the traditional 90º edge, advantage is gained for both beginners, who get a forgiving, catch-free ride, as well as expert riders looking for a board that’s jib-ready right out of the wrapper.

Removing the top sheet reduces weight and gives the snowboard a lively flex and increased pop.

Increased impact resistance to snowboarding’s abusive rail riding. Increased dampening aids in better edge hold on firm and variable snow conditions.

Tips Up Longer running length combined with short tip and tail lengths, gives you the most stable ride in a reduced length.

Lock & Load Camber

The board is flat through the center and has a +1.5 mm of positive camber in the tip and tail. Combine this with DC’s revolutionary Camber Core, you get the feel and pop of a full camber board while maintaining the forgiveness and pow float of a flat board.

The board has traditional camber throughout the midsection with longer, traditional contact points, creating a flat, stable platform. This skate-inspired camber profile has allowed us to create an entirely new feeling of power and stability in these boards.

Anti-Camber

Traditional Camber

Anti-Camber boards are flat between your stance and curved away from the snow outside the stance. We adjust the length of the flat spot and the amount of Anti-Camber to determine how the board will perform. A long flat spot is fast and stable, while a shorter flat spot is more maneuverable. Likewise, less Anti-Camber translates to more power and drive, while more Anti-Camber makes the board more playful and forgiving.

Snowboarders everywhere love traditional camber because it naturally offers explosive ollies and powerful turns by inherently loading up the tip and tail.
