Fo R mORe Fun We live in uncertain times, for the world at large and in snowboarding specifically, caused in no small part by the effects of global warming. Unstable weather patterns, melting glaciers, unpredictable snowfalls, and now a global pandemic have, in many ways, turned our lives upside down. At Nidecker, we’ve tried to restore some sense of normality to the situation by making a conscious effort to focus on doing what we do best: use our experience and expertise to make our industry-leading snowboards, boots, and bindings even better, because nothing beats a great day out on the mountain for washing away the distractions that daily life can deliver. Because riding in exceptional equipment is a key ingredient in the overall snowboard experience, our mission is to continue creating high-performance gear that allows us to live our passion for snowboarding to the fullest. More than ever, this year, we’ve put innovation at the forefront in every aspect of our business to push the progression of our company, our products, and our sport. While staying true to our values and sticking to the essentials, we’ve strived to offer a diversity of products and styles across our different series of boards, boots, and bindings that reflect the needs and desires expressed to our design team by an eclectic group of snowboarders of all ages, styles and skill levels. Our objective from the moment we started creating this collection was to combine their feedback with our knowledge to guarantee each of these products will make the time you spend snowboarding the highlight of your day, every time you ride. Or to sum it up in three words that represent the past, present and future of our brand: ‘For More Fun’. No matter your generation or the terrain you like to ride, that’s why we do what we do. That is the secret of snowboarding.
“ EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE, NATURE HAS ALREADY CREATED ,, Albert Einstein
Concentrating on our core business while continuing to improve our already impressive product offering has demanded that we become even more observant of the world around us and more innovative in everything we do. We are proud to announce that one of the rewards of that devotion to innovation is the brand new INSTINCT Series. Working together for several years, a group of dedicated researchers and passionate snowboarders studied the lessons that nature has to teach us about BIOMIMICRY and applied them to this new line. Their hard work has delivered an array of state-of-the-art shapes and a fresh approach to riding. All of this research, development and time spent imagining the future of the Nidecker couldn’t happen without our never-ending passion for snowboarding and desire for innovation driving us in everything we do. We also aspire to help make the world a better place to live and play by protecting the environment, preserving our natural resources and respecting the people who manufacture our products. We engage on a daily basis with our partners to ensure we continue being exemplary corporate citizens, as well as contributing to independent, non-profit, environmental organizations through our participation in the 1% For The Planet program. More than ever, this year, we’ve put innovation at the forefront in every aspect of our business to push the progression of our company, our products, our sport, and most importantly our responsibility to the nature. For more fun forever! Thierry Kunz

REDUCING OUR FOOTPRINT
M AT ER I A LS
Snowboarding is all about celebrating the natural world, not just taking from it. We are taking steps at every level of our business to ensure our boards are produced with the smallest egological footprint possible.
A large part of our environmental impact comes from the materials used to produce our products. Researching new natural materials and promote the use of existing renewables like wood, green resins, and waxes as well as recycled materials is our duty. Nidecker also limits the number of solvents, varnish, and other chemicals wherever possible.
It's not always glamourous, but each winter we strive to make our processes as sound as possible, from first concept to final delivery.
P R O CES S An efficient manufacturing process is key to considerably reducing environmental impact. Nidecker favors short supply chains, energy reduction, and limited water usage, which is maximized by recuperating and reusing it in different stages of production.
PACK AG I N G Nidecker has found ways to optimize packaging, wrapping products as closely as possible, and taking into account the occupation of space during transport.
GIVING BACK Life is a trade-off, and to maintain balance, we’ve decided to give 1% of our turnover to non-profit foundations working to educate and empower people to undertake civic acts that help protect our planet. Nidecker has been a proud member of 1% For The Planet since 2019.
All of which result in total optimization of environmental impact and costs. Following responsible and positive business practices is entirely possible.
1% For The Planet is a growing association of businesses that have pledged to give 1% of their sales directly to sustainability-oriented non-profits. The mission of 1% For The Planet is to leverage this alliance of financially committed businesses to support a healthy planet.
F AC TO R Y TO R E TA I L ER S H I P M EN T S Nidecker began factory to retailer shipments in 2017 to the largest points of sale. By going directly from point A to point B, avoiding unnecessary handling and long shipments between warehouses, the company has considerably reduced CO2 emissions.
ETHICAL PRODUCTION The support of our factory partners is critical to maintaining and advancing our social and sustainability standards. We oblige all our major factory partners and suppliers to adhere to our Code Of Conduct and submit to a Social & Environmental Responsibility Audit.
SHIPPING METHOD Reducing urgency by producing in advance is a source of substantial savings. That’s why we prefer maritime and rail transport to air freight. Nidecker ships 95% of its products by means other than air.
Working with the Swiss company EA Shaping Environmental Action, we have designed and implemented a strong Code Of Conduct document that all our major suppliers are obliged to adhere to.

INSTINCT SERIES

Life on earth has existed for 3.8 billion years, evolving, refining… thriving. It’s the biggest research and design project ever conceived, one with infinite scope and possibility. For us, the results are not just a guiding light - they’re a template for what snowboard design can be. A new vision of riding, inspired by nature.
W H AT W E D O Biomimicry is the science of taking design components from nature and applying them to man-made constructs. Our head shaper and engineer - TK and AF - have spent hours studying natural forms and their effect on motion: how the difference between pin and fork-tailed hawks affects their manoeuvrability; how water flows around aquatic creatures; how fish alter their shape to create natural ‘sidecuts’. It’s a simple approach, but one that’s effective - when bringing these shapes and concepts into this new line, we found that the boards flow more gracefully, rolling naturally from edge to edge rather than the usual ‘flat’ connection a modern snowboard delivers. By following Mother Nature’s blueprints, we find ourselves able to ride her environments with greater ease and fluidity.
WHO WE DO IT FOR The Instinct Series is for riders searching for a new way to connect with their snowboard - the new shapes and the new ‘rolling’ sensation from edge to edge you get, not unlike turning on a surfboard, facilitates a new way to turn, slash and flow downhill. These riders - like team members Shin Biyajima and Mathieu Crepel - understand that to get the most from snowboarding you have to work with nature, that’s why our new capsule comes directly from studying the natural world.

Biomimicry is a practice that learns from and mimics the strategies found in nature to solve human design challenges — and find hope along the way. For the past several years, accompanied by specialists in the field, we’ve been studying this infinite science and how to apply it to some exciting challenges concerning snowboard shapes, construction and production. This is just the beginning of a new approach we plan to institute to improve our products, and we will do this with the utmost respect for the natural environment surrounding us, an infinite and precious source of information. We’ve tried to answer questions brought to us by some of our riders - Mathieu and Shin - for this new initiative. We want to change our way of thinking and approach to product development by observing the environment and finding solutions provided by nature.
PREMIUM SANDWITCH
NIDACTIVE APX CONSTRUCTION
This next level construction steps up the power and response of our standard sandwich manufacturing. Adding advanced materials like Carbon and Kevlar® gives the board more pop and improved shock absorption.
This new construction put our experience and expertise to the test during research and development as well as production. The precision required to assemble the different material layers is measured in tenths of millimeters. We use a cap construction for the nose and tail, while the riding section features a 2mm sidewall with a machine-rounded core to obtain optimum fluid flow properties and power transfer to the rails. This innovative, cutting-edge construction represents the logical evolution of the existing NIDACTIVE Construction we use to build the boards in our Snow.Surf quiver. TOP SHEET
TOP SHEET
HOW TO INCREASE LIFT AND BUOYANCY We researched the science of birds in flight and saw that their wings’ shape plays a major role in the amount of lift they can produce. As a result, towards the back of certain boards, we’ve added a “drop out” to the outline: this feature results in a slightly narrower tail that sinks into the snow more easily. It also adds extra buoyancy towards the front of the board and provides more lift under the nose. The result is a highly responsive, easy-to-maneuver board, with more lift for more fun, especially in deep snow. We’ve rounded out our noses slightly to provide more surface area for extra buoyancy and added a slightly convex shape widthwise while still respecting the natural curvature of the nose. This subtle detail inspired by marine mammals’ stomachs allows a slight elevation of the board’s extremities, which means additional pressure can be applied to the center. The result is increased buoyancy and better fluid flow (or snow flow, in this case), which minimizes drag.

INSERTS
Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still give you a smooth and fatigue free ride.
With 6 rows of inserts every 2 cm, this insert combination allows you to adjust your stance to the optimum position, and works with all bindings on the market. Our reference stance is the second narrowest position possible.
F I B E R HOW TO MAKE EDGE-TO-EDGE TRANSITIONS SMOOTHER At Nidecker, our goal has always been to build the best carving boards in the business. The pleasure of leaning into a turn and feeling the force of gravity pulling you toward the snow is an incredible and unique sensation, but every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In the case of carving, it’s overly aggressive transitions of weight and power that are too direct from edge to edge. After careful consideration of the issue, nature provided a solution. By observing the penguin’s body shape and seeing how it allows them to glide effortlessly on snow and ice (their favorite way of getting around), we decided to add a double-rounded zone that mimics penguin morphology to our bases, resulting in a more fluid, feeling-first way of transitioning edge-to-edge.
HOW TO APPLY MORE POWER TO YOUR EDGE WITH LESS EFFORT We wanted to improve how boards hold their edge in snow. There is no direct equivalent to a board’s edge gripping on hardpack or ice in nature, but our structural engineers realised that biomimicry still held engineering solutions. Most modern sidewalls are squared off, but in nature you rarely see right-angles. Look at how a tree hold up its branches, or how beaches form from a point break: they curve. Our unique Nidactive sidewalls round down from the topsheet directly to the edge, helping to increase lateral lean and make it easier to exert pressure on the rail. We’ve done some serious fine-tuning, combining our rounded Swiss Core with a constant 2mm sidewall thickness along the entire effective edge in contact with the snow. Not only is it an effective solution, it gives the board a refined, aesthetically pleasing look, worthy of an expertly crafted surfboard. The result is an unbeatable effortto-edge-hold ratio and pure snowboarding fun!
BIAX PLUS
TRIAX PLUS
Biax Plus retains the properties of our tried and tested 90° biaxial fiberglass weave but we use more glass to enhance power transfer. It’s is is uncompromising in it’s response and energy return, and loved and coveted by riders searching for a good blend of stiff & damp wherever they rip.
The result of extensive testing with our riders and engineers, our Triax laminate is oriented at 45° to the board, and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn.
NDK SWISS CORE
NDK Swiss Core is the heart and soul that makes our new Instinct Series so special. Its name tells you all you need to know. This core is crafted in Switzerland with passion from sustainably harvested, light poplar wood. What’s more, its FSC and PEFC certifications mean we’ve reached the highest possible standards in terms of sustainable forest management and manufacturing along our entire supply chain.

THEFUNBALL THE FUNBALL
Produced in the Nidecker factory in Rolle, Switzerland, in 1987, this is one of an elite club of graphics that best represented the 80s fluorescent color craze. Like a blast from the past, bright, flashy colors have made a roaring comeback with today’s youth and are offering a happy dose of nostalgia to the guys and gals who used to rock ‘em back in the day. In the beginning, our sport was all about surfing on snow. The Fun Ball is a tip of the hat to those surfing roots. Using the original Mellow shape, this re-edition is one of the coolest, most laid back, freeride boards we’ve ever made. The mix of classic outline and high-tech materials delivers that fantastic feeling you get doing surf-style turns, in pristine powder fields, on smooth groomers, or in end-of-season slush. Specifically designed for slashing up uneven terrain and snaking through trees, it blurs the line between ripping up your favorite mountain and tearing up your favorite wave. Our Absorbnid topsheet absorbs unwanted vibrations while adding extra responsiveness and pop.

The monoski is a unique craft - whether you’ve ridden one before or are seeing it for the first time, it’s obvious that it is different. From the moment the sport was born in France, monoskiing had a passionate following. Nidecker was one of the most influential of a handful of brands that supported this new style of riding. We actively participated in its comeback amongst the longtime faithful and with a new generation discovering this fun, retro way to ride the mountain for the first time. Directly inspired by our snowboards, this new monoski features a diamond nose and a small, raised fishtail in tune with our modern designs. But it’s really the sidecut and outline allowing for more committed turns that differentiates it from the original version. It’s designed and built using the same innovative technology and construction as our snowboards, including our topof-the-line N-9000 base produced with carbon nanoparticles for maximum glide; triax fiberglass for optimum responsiveness; and reinforced deck for mounting bindings. The Mono offers the same high performance as our snowboards – the only difference is you ride it facing downhill.

Nidecker has an intimate connection to the snowsurfing movement. To keep the stoke of surfing alive so far from the ocean, former pro snowboarder turned shaper, Thierry Kunz had to find a way to surf the mountains at home in the Swiss Alps. His solution was to design a line of boards that require a riding style driven off the back foot, just like driving through a turn off the bottom of a wave. An obsession with the force of gravity and the unique feeling of riding a surfboard are the inspirations behind this collection, which combines singular surfing technologies like epoxy glassing with industry leading snowboard manufacturing techniques, and stylistic touches like our old school logos and a simple white line down
Our snowsurfs are made for truly experienced riders committed to performance and excellence, who spend as much time in the water as they do on snow and know that having the best time is all about having the right board for the conditions on the day if you’re truly dedicated to riding, you’ve acquired a quiver of boards perfect for everything from slashing spring slush to laying down big turns through steep and deep fields of powder. If back foot riding and full rail carves are all what you’re all about, these boards are a dream come true.

The radius is similar to the steering wheel of a car. A smaller radius will naturally make the board turn shorter, and vice versa. The real secret is an adjusted radius next to the contact edges, allowing you to turn with ease.

CONSTRUCTION
FIBER
This brand new type of construction inspired by surf boards is a completely unique approach to snowboarding. The rounded top of the wood core and the consistent sidewall height are shaped in the same way as surfboard rails, enabling a maximum amount of pressure to be applied to the edges. It creates this special feeling that makes us like no other... Try it and see for yoursel.
The combination of Triax on the top and Biax on the bottom results in true sturdiness under your feet. Crafted with a proper torsion box, this combo transfers energy for ultimate responsiveness.
TOP SHEET After many hours of testing by our production team we’ve developed a unique glassing process using tinted resin that when combined with our ABSORBNID top layer delivers incredible properties of absorption and durability.

SHAPE 51

PROFILE OUTLINE The outline of a snowboard defines its very heart and soul. Even the smallest variation in nose shape, radius and tail profile can have the most dramatic effect on performance. With over 30 years of snowboard manufacturing under our belts, here at Nidecker we believe the secret to creating high performance snowboards is to ensure we get these key elements exactly right, in every board we build.
The profile is a board’s shape as viewed from the side and depends on the style of riding for which a board has been built. Each of our snowboard categories features a different profile : Positive Camber, Standard CamRock, Freeride CamRock, Freestyle CamRock or Surfy CamRock. Equally
important, especially for flex and rebound, is the profile of the wood core. It's the determining factor in a board's overall flex characteristics and performance. Our years of experience have helped us fine-tune this process to perfection.
FREERIDE CAMROCK
SURF Y CAMROCK
Freeride CamRock gives you everything you need to handle big backcountry lines. A longer rocker in the nose, camber under the feet and a reduced rocker in the tail makes for a maneuverable, confidence inspiring board with lots of float to really push the limits of freeriding.
Surfy CamRock delivers that special feeling of surfing on snow sought after by a new generation of freeriders. With a long rocker in the nose for optimal float and regular camber through the midsection and tail, it has all the reactivity you need to ride with lots of setback and a very short fish tail.
TAIL
NOSE
It's not hard to make a good looking snowboard, what is hard is making a snowboard that rides well. There are hundreds of boards out there, but only a handful really stand out. To create the best snowboards , you need a knowledge of shaping and material engineering that you can only get through experience. With over 100 years of experience in winter sports product development, we’ve come to the conclusion that the eye and knowledge of a shaper will always outweigh that of a CAD designer. There’s nothing we enjoy more than the hours of riding, conceptualizing, sharing and testing that we put into each and every model in our line.

TAIL SHAPES
SIDECUT SHAPES
NOSE SHAPES
You could be forgiven for thinking that the tail of your board isn’t really that important. But think again. The tail is a vital part of snowboard design. It’s what helps you finish your turn and initiate the next one, but it can also be your nose when you're riding switch. No matter what type of board you ride it’s always going to be an essential part of its make up.
The radius is similar to the steering wheel of your car. A smaller radius will naturally make the board turn shorter, and vice versa. One of our secrets is adjusting the radius next to the contact edges: to make turning extra easy, which is why we match the appropriate sidecut to each board model and rider's specifications (weight / shoe size).
As the first contact point with the snow, a board’s nose is the starting point in determining its character traits and end performance. Get it right and it’s the gateway to the very essence of snowboarding.
ALL ROUND
R5 SERIES
ALL ROUND
Pretty much the same as the All-Round nose shape. With a pure and simple transition it delivers an easy and smooth ride. Predictable and playful in turns, it acts as a second nose for riding switch.
This 5+ meter radius is the one we use for our kids boards. It allows for quick turns to help young riders progress with confidence, and to ensure they have fun and learn the correct technique from day one.
Easy and smooth to ride, this classic snowboard shape has stood the test of time. With a pure and simple transition, we use it in all of our all-round boards.
FISH
R6 SERIES
DIAMOND POW
This is the defining feature of our Mellow, the most surfingoriented snowboard in the line. Specially designed to sink the tail, it lets us drastically reduce the length of the board.
The ultra short 6+ meter radius is the one we use for smaller and lighter snowboarders. It's perfect for riders who prefer finesse to power, and want a board that delivers responsive, reassuring turns.
Specially created for the Mellow, our freeride board that gives you that surfing feeling, we’ve extended the transition from the contact points into the nose to reduce the overall size of the board and give it extra float.
SQUARE
R7 SERIES
ROUND DOUBLE SQUARE
This innovative shape creates an extra responsive board and allows us to reduce the overall length. Perfect for riders who want the ultimate in carving performance.
This short 7+ meter radius, mixed with a stiffer flex is perfect for carving sharp arcing turns.
This new generation of nose shape combines a wider profile with a smoother transition to fine-tune the float for a shorter, more compact shape.
DIAMOND
R8 SERIES
This evolution of the all-round tail is more compact with a longer transition for increased lift, allowing you to ride switch without compromising the board's responsiveness.
This medium 8+ meter radius is ideally suited for riders with a more relaxed style and versatile enough for everyday riding.
DIAMOND This is a newly developed shape, with a longer transition that allows for a more compact nose with increased float.

FREEST YLE CAMROCK
CamRock represents the best rocker/camber combination in snowboarding today, and has taken our entire board line to the next level. This tried and true camber is perfect for riders who want to enjoy all aspects of snowboarding. With camber between the bindings and rocker evenly distributed in the nose and tail, this is the all-mountain, all-conditions profile that will leave you stoked and smiling from ear to ear. Standard CamRock is the best hybrid rocker/camber profile on the market today and the profile of choice for most riders.
Freestyle CamRock is a three-phase camber construction. It's flat between the bindings, with more rocker in the nose and tail. This result is board that grips like crampons on ice, floats like a dream in powder and makes sticking tricks a walk in the park.

SETBACK
TAPER Narrower in the tail than the nose, a taper shape is intended for freeriding and freecarving. In powder, the design allows the tail to sink in, giving more lift and allowing a board to be ridden while leaning forward due to the larger surface area under the front foot. It delivers a surf-style feeling in powder and more fluid transitions from edge to edge everywhere else.

EFFECTIVE EDGE
Positive Camber is the bedrock for performance snowboards, its extra grip and powerful response have made it the default choice for riders looking for optimum carving performance. The secret to our advanced camber is the addition of 8 to 10 cm flat transitions at the contact points, delivering the ultimate in precision, edge hold and stability.
This 9+ meter radius is the longest in our line, designed for heavier riders, and anyone who wants a stable board for laying down really drawn out, horizontal carves.

TECH DETAILS From day one, R&D has been at the forefront of everything we do. Pushing ourselves and the construction of our boards from the very beginning of our company has allowed us to come up with some of the most innovative developments seen in snowboarding. TOP
WOODCORE
ADDED FIBERS
N-TECH 2.0
CARBONID
LIGHT CORE
Is a major evolution of our already futuristic N-TECH construction process. The main feature is a 3D cap that increases the effect of the 3D torsion construction between the feet and when combined with our Freeflex 3.0 technology in the nose and tail also produces state-of-the-art flex and stress distribution patterns that are unique in snowboard manufacturing.
Carbonid is a full carbon top layer developed especially for our dynamic, top of the range Ultralight, BladePlus and Spectre Carbon models. Mixed with the multi-strand glass layers, this explosive combination delivers the ultimate in power and reactivity.
Our lightest core – featuring three different wood types. The Light Core is a perfect combination of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and responsiveness, and hardwood beech stringers along the edges to increase core durability, pop and protection from edge impacts.
ABSORBNID Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still give you a smooth and fatigue free ride. ASH WOOD VENEER This ash wood veneer top layer delivers added responsiveness and is the most natural way to find the best balance between absorption and pop.
VIBR AK Two strips of Kevlar® and carbon reduce the vibrations and chatter under your feet, resulting in a very comfortable ride and giving you the confidence to go bigger and faster, no matter what the mountain throws at you.
MASTER CORE
BCK
The Master Core construction is a product of our long history of experimentation in materials and woodcraft. It's the perfect harmony of different wood densities and varieties (poplar, beech, spruce, and paulownia), resulting in a superior weight-to-performance-to power ratio, and an ultra-strong, extra-responsive, lightweight core.
The ultimate combination of fibers to fit all your needs : Basalt, Carbon, Kevlar ® (BCK). Placed from the tail to the rear inserts and from the nose to the front inserts, it makes for a lighter board and provides increased pop, torsional stiffness, and reactivity. POP CARBON

PREMIUM SANDWICH This next level construction steps up the power and response of our standard sandwich manufacturing. Adding advanced materials like Carbon and Kevlar® gives the board more pop and improved shock absorption.
4 /2-6 +1 INSERTS With 6 rows of inserts every 2 cm, this insert combination allows you to adjust your stance to the optimum position, and works with all bindings on the market. Our reference stance is the second narrowest position possible. Use the extra tailward insert option for the very deepest days. 4 /2-6 INSERTS With 6 rows of inserts every 2 cm, this insert combination allows you to adjust your stance to the optimum position, and works with all bindings on the market. Our reference stance is the second narrowest position possible. 4 /2-5 INSERTS
Strategic placement of carbon fiber from the tail to the rear inserts, and from the nose to the front inserts, resulting in a more reactive board, with increased pop and stiffness. It's vibration dampening qualities make it ideal for more aggressive riding in all conditions.
This is our standard poplar core, with beech reinforcements. The beech in the nose and tail adds pop, stiffness and torsion. If you like a consistent ride with lots of life, this is the core for you.
BASE
EXCLUSIVE FEATURES N-9000 BASE
3DN-CONCEPT
Produced with carbon nanoparticles, the N-9000 has a very dense molecular structure, which makes it our fastest, most durable base material.
Our 3D N-Concept takes snowboard construction to the next level. A unique core outline between the inserts allows the board to flex differently under each foot, delivering the ultimate feeling of control and a three dimensional riding experience you won't find anywhere else.
N-7000 BASE
With 5 rows of inserts every 2 cm, this combination is the industry standard and works with all bindings on the market. Our reference stance is the middle position.
Developed exclusively for Nidecker, the N-7000 is an extremely tough, sintruded base with added carbon nanoparticles that provide exceptional glide.
4 /4-4 INSERTS
N-5000 BASE
With 4 rows of inserts every 4 cm, this basic insert pattern offers a large possibility of stance options, and is the first step in finding your optimum stance when you start snowboarding. Our reference stance is the middle position.
The N-5000 is our universal base. It’s designed to absorb wax to retain it longer. Exceptionally durable, this base will take you anywhere.
3
FREEFLEX 3.0 By reducing the wood and fiberglass in the nose and tail, but reinforcing them with lighter, stronger materials, our unique Freeflex 3.0 technology allows us to significantly decrease board weight, while simultaneously increasing strength, durability and pop. It also dampens vibrations and provides an extraordinarily light feel when transitioning between turns.
4 /4-3 INSERTS With 3 rows of inserts every 4 cm, this very basic insert pattern offers less possibilities, making it easier for younger riders to choose which stance feels best. We only offer it on our models for kids. Our reference stance is the middle position.
FIBERS GLASS CL ASSIC SANDWICH
TRIA X PLUS
Our standard construction is the top of the line for most other brands. Our well proven, high quality materials allow us to produce great performing boards that don’t break the bank.
The result of extensive testing with our riders and engineers, our Triax laminate is oriented at 45° to the board, and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn. BIA X PLUS Biax Plus retains the properties of our tried and tested 90° biaxial fiberglass weave but we use more glass to enhance power transfer. It's is is uncompromising in it's response and energy return, and loved and coveted by riders searching for a good blend of stiff & damp wherever they rip.
WELCOM TO THE SIDEKICK GENERATION SideKick lifts your edges at the widest points of the nose and tail resulting in increased float in powder, smoother riding in rough terrain and effortless turn initiation.
BIA X STR ANDARD Our standard 90° biaxial fiberglass is designed to offer a forgiving ride and predictable torsional flex. It's bombproof, reliable and perfect for all types of terrain and riders.

TECH-WHEEL
SET UP HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR STANCE?
Our Tech-Wheel is the easiest way to figure out which board is made for you. It shows all the information you need to know about each board quickly and clearly, including the level of rider and terrain type for which it's intended, and a rating for specifications such as floatability, riding switch, high speed stability and carvability.
Determining your stance isn’t about following the latest trends or just doing what you think feels good for you. It's about optimizing the harmony between rider and board. For the last few years we’ve worked with top specialists in the field of human anatomy to develop a scientific way to determine the stance that will get the best performance out of your board, depending on your body type and riding style. First, you have to find your natural stance then just make some small adjustments that correspond to the way you like to ride.
RIDING LEVEL
What terrain do you like best? All our boards are designed to be versatile chargers, but different boards work better in different parts of the mountain.
It’s never easy to judge yourself. No matter how well you ride, the number one rule on the mountain is to never overestimate your abilities. Even on the most mismatched equipment for your skill set, you'll still have fun linking a few turns. But, if you're honest with yourself, you'll end up with the right gear and have a great time, every time you ride. That’s what snowboarding is all about.

BEGINNER
CARVING STANCE The carving stance is simply your natural stance, the best ratio of balance to power. It gives you all the force you need to hold your edge driving through turns.
We’ve all been there. Even the best snowboarders in the world were beginners once upon a time. We define a beginner as a rider who is just starting out or who hasn't progressed past green and blue slopes. Of course, if you have a bit more experience, but enjoy an easy going ride, these boards will work perfectly for you, too.
ALL MOUNTAIN STANCE The all-mountain stance is your natural stance + 2 cm. It’s the optimum mix of performance and comfort, perfect for cruising all day on the slopes and in the backcountry.
INTERMEDIATE This level is all about improving your snowboarding skills. You've mastered the basics, and want to progress to the next level. These boards are made for riders who are starting to explore the whole mountain and are looking for a more dynamic and responsive ride.

C
SP
To feel the flex of a board yourself takes practice, but a good start would be to hold the board at the contact point with your forearm, then place the other contact point on the ground and push the centre of the board with your free hand. Don’t just look for how far it bends, see how quikly it bounces back.
5
FREEST YLE STANCE The freestyle stance is your natural stance + 6 to 10 cm. It gives you the best balance and stability for landing jumps and riding switch. Although not as carving oriented, it’s also the recommended stance for less experienced riders looking to improve their overall technique.
A board's setup is the combination of stance width and binding angles. Just as is the case with your stance, the angles of your feet are directly related to your preferred riding style.

CHARACTERISTICS RATING
The Flex is one of the most important characteristics of a board. Even though it's invisible and sometimes hard to feel, it's the heart and soul of the board and gives a deck its character and life. It's worked into the construction through multiple components such as the type of core and its thickness, the types of glass fibres used as well as extra materials like carbon or Kevlar...as well as the topsheet and the base material, of course. Every piece plays an important role, and like cooking, it's not enough just to have good ingredients. It's knowing how to measure them out and mix them all together that counts.
FREERIDE STANCE The freeride stance is your natural stance + 4 cm. It helps absorb chop, increases stability at high speeds and makes it super easy to lean into turns and land big drops in powder.

NATUR AL STANCE The Natural Stance is a calculation of your body’s skeletal geometry, which we determine by using something called the Golden Ratio. This optimum stance width is found by measuring the distance from the floor to the middle of your knee. It makes a triangle between your belly button and feet to give you the correct ratio of balance to force, without putting too much stress on your joints.
The board specifications are ratings of the key riding characteristics of each board from 1 (lowest performance) to 10 (highest performance) to give you an idea which one comes closest to matching your riding style.
– The angle of your front foot establishes the direction and engages turns. – The angle of your back foot gives the balance and energy to finish turns or to pop.

FLOATABILIT Y This is a rating of how quickly a board reaches planing speed, or starts "floating" on the snow. Of course, all boards will float when they reach a high enough speed, but this tells you how fast the board will lift up off the snow when you first drop in. On deep powder days, this is the most important board spec there is. CARVABILIT Y This rating measures a board's performance when it comes to carving. By definition, snowboards are designed to turn, but different sidecuts and flex patterns mean there's a huge difference between boards designed for slashing up springtime slush and those for laying down horizontal carves on icy hard pack.

FLOWFIT
EXCLUSIVE TECH
Flowfit's legendary foot-feel in a Nidecker boot. Using Nidecker and Flow’s knowledge and experience, we’ve revolutionized the fit of Nidecker boots by building them around the lasts and integrating the renowned fit of Flow boots. FlowFit guarantees the best fitting boots right out of the box with the perfect balance of comfort, support and control. FlowFit also combines great technology with a boot-shape designed for optimum fit and performance with both Flow SpeedEntry and Nidecker 2-strap bindings.
Get up-close and personal with your boot. Two of the critical keys to comfort are fit and feel, which we’ve perfected by using our proprietary and anatomically shaped inner and outer FlowFit lasts combined with high-tech, ergonomic and asymmetric construction. Along with the other innovative technologies we’ve developed, they give our boots their perfect fit, specifically designed for all-day, all-mountain riding comfort for all levels of snowboarder.
Part of the ASYM Technology : FIT - FEEL - FLEX are combined in an asymmetric shape and closure system that delivers optimum support and flex. Lined up along the asymmetrical molded tongue, the Boa® Fit System lace guides are also asymmetrically positioned on the flatter areas of your forefoot for less point-loaded pressure and a more even closure, which increases medial arch support to reduce foot fatigue and cramping. This Nidecker innovation is codeveloped with and approved by Boa®. 3F
Both the top cuff of the liner and the boot shell collar feature our reverse cut and asymmetrical designs to accommodate the calf muscle anatomy and guarantee a perfect fit, while providing great medial support and increased lateral drive.
& Hook & Loop Velcro Power Straps are a simple solution to give you a tighter and more secure fit, wrapping around your liner or upper boot, fastened with a strong metallic D-ring.
Everyone deserves the perfect pair of boots No matter how often someone rides, how good they are or their preferred riding style, boots are integral pieces of equipment. It all starts with the feet. If they hurt or are cold, snowboarding isn’t nearly as much fun, and it’s what will happen if the boot is too small or too big. To choose the correct pair of boots you have to remember we use MONDOPOINT to establish sizes (EU, US/M, US/W and UK). The asymmetrical tongue is 3D molded and curved towards the medial side, following the naturally raised ridgeline of your forefoot to alleviate pressure points and give a more balanced feel of comfort and support. An anatomically correct and asymmetrical tongue performs better than a standard straight one.
These toebox designs eliminate extra layers and seams around the toe of the boot to create a durable and streamlined design with less bulk and a better FlowFit on your foot, and a better FlowFit in your bindings.
L AST
FLEX
A shoe is widest at the metatarsals, which is the point that determines the fit. The wider the last, the greater the feeling of comfort will be. The narrower the last, the more precise the fit will be. The last also takes into account the form and the volume of the foot from the height of the longest toe to the heel. It should be noted that in the snowboard industry, manufacturers rarely give exact measurements to the nearest millimeter, but talk more often in terms of comfort and precision of fit.
Flex is a combination of stiffness, shape, thickness and density of the shell materials. The higher the level snowboarding, the higher the levels of stiffness and flex must be. You must also take into account a client’s preferred riding style (freestyle, freeride, carving). Numerous parameters have an influence on flex, for example choice of binding, tightness of laces, and opting for a fully customizable liner. Boot flex ratings go from 1 “soft” to 10 “very stiff”.
Made with incredibly durable, high-tech materials, this construction combines a waterproof bladder with a reinforced skeleton and our Exo-Spine external backstay designed to be a re-enforced connection between the different parts of the boot, deliver an instantaneous transfer of force from heel to toe, and provide extra stiffness for optimal support as well as a reassuring feeling of security.
Our Exo-Spine Technology is an external backstay designed to be a reinforced link between the different parts of the boot and deliver an instantaneous transfer of force from heel to toe. It also offers extra stiffness for optimal support, as well as increased durability and resistance to shocks..
A thermal insulation barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the liner keeps the warmth inside and the cold outside.
Shock-absorbing dynamic gel pads are inserted into the outsole around the heel and in the forefoot area. This special cushioning system allow to reduces fatigue and improves comfort.
SPECS
CHOOSING THE RIGHT BOOT

100% HEAT MOLDING MANUAL PERFECT YOUR COMFORT BOOT FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Use one of the following heating methods when thermoforming boot liners : a blower heater or an oven that heats to a maximum temperature of 115°C (240°F)
METHOD 1 : INSTRUCTIONS FOR THERMOFORMING WITH AN OVEN
STEP 1 Take the liners out of the shell of each boot and the insole out of the liners.
STEP 2 Put the liners in the oven and set the desired length of time and temperature.
METHOD 2 : INSTRUCTIONS FOR THERMOFORMING WITH A BLOWER HEATER
STEP 1
STEP 3
Take the insoles out of the liners and place the shells with the liners on the nozzles.
For your comfort, we recommend wearing gloves due to the high temperature of the liner.
STEP 2
STEP 4 Remove one liner from the oven. Leave the other inside and turn off the heat. Put the insole back in the liner, then have the client insert their foot. Repeat the process with the second liner.
Set the desired length of time and the temperature to 80°C (175°F). For heaters without temperature settings, verify the maximum temperature doesn’t exceed 80°C (175°F).
STEP 3 Place the insoles back in the liners and put them on the client’s feet.

COOLING TIME
As a general rule, we recommend letting the liner cool down on the client’s feet. Then, we suggest strapping the client into their bindings mounted on their board with the correct angles and stance width. This allows the foam to compress at the specific points where pressure is applied by the binding straps, and to create a mold that corresponds to the pressure generated by the interior of the calf muscles (the wider the stance, the more pressure is applied).
We highly recommend liners be heat molded in a snowboard shop equipped with a heating device specifically designed for thermoforming liners. We cannot be held responsible for damage to boots or liners thermoformed by anyone who is not a trained professional.

VERSATILE INTELLIGENT DURABLE
We developed an unique and exclusive Nose and Tail bumper, made of a soft rubber to absorb shocks and make the board more durable. This molded piece of rubber has been integrated into the wood core on three-quarters of the nose and tail, between the base and the topsheet. It is visible across the entire width of the shape.
INNOVATION, SIMPLICITY, FUN AND PERFORMANCE
We believe that all products should be innovative and push technology by being simple in design and easy to use. It should be fun and allow for you to have a better time on the hill, performing in all conditions and situations. These are the fundamental pillars that we strive to achieve in all our products. Our rental program is no exception. We are proud to offer innovative, easy-to-use, fun and performance-oriented goods to help get more people involved in our sport. It is our commitment to each and every rider.
Sidewalls of all rental boards have been increased from 30° to 40° in order to minimise lateral impacts and guarantee a longer service life.
Our topsheet has been completely redesigned with dedicated materials in order to achieve a more impactresistant finish.
A matte finish has been added on the topsheet. This limits its wear over time as well as the superficial rails.

The Chill Rental is a freestyle board with Twin Tip shape which possesses the known and loved Nidecker ride feel. It's got a Camrock profile with rocker in the tips and positive camber underfoot. This board has a ton of stability and a flex suited to all levels of snowboarder. The Chill has bulletproof construction with a bumper in the nose and tail as well as a reinforced topsheet, and sloped sidewalls to avoid any breakages. It'll look like new even after years of use.
This board is based off our beloved Escape shape which has won legions of fans worldwide. It's the gold standard in modern all-mountain riding. The Axis, which is the rental version, is exactly the same board. We've added colour-coding to fit in with the rest of the rental line, and modified the base and the topsheet to meet the needs of rental customers. SHAPE & PROFILE

RECLINING HIBACK The Flow Reclining Hiback fully folds up and down, for the easiest way to get in & out of your bindings.
FUSION EXOFRAME POWERSTRAP The ExoFrame PowerStrap is a lightweight and durable TPU frame which is 3D-shaped for a great fit. They cover a larger area of your foot for more comfort and control, keeping boots firmly in place and like all Flow PowerStraps they don’t need to be worn overly tight. This minimizes excessive pressure-points which eliminates painful and cold feet, yet they maximize comfort and power-transfer.
COLORCODED Easy color-coding to match at a glance to the correct fitting size boots and boards.
ACTIVE STRAP Getting in&out of these rental bindings is super easy through the ActiveStrap assisted reclining hiback, which automatically moves the PowerStrap and creates a wider entry and exit to easily kick your boots in&out.
LSR - LOCKING SLAP RATCHET
POWER-TRIANGLE
AXIS-SERIES BASEPLATE
Our patented & unique PowerTriangle has 3 key elements: the baseplate, the hiback and the high-tensile steel cable. The cable transfers energy directly from the hiback to the baseplate, which means more energy going right into the board. Easier turns for beginners, more feel & control for experts.
The Axis-Series is a durable glass-filled Nylon baseplate with an asymmetrical design for optimal energy transfer. Wider design for stability and easy access, but off-axis PowerBeams and asymmetrical rocker-corners offer a direct and balanced transfer of power to the board for all levels of riding. Fits our all-new EASY LOCK SYSTEM, and our standard MultiDisk which fits all popular mounting standards.
Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) buckles give the option to easily get in and out of your bindings any way you choose. Whether Setit and Forget-it SpeedEntry, or side-entry like a 2-strap, they lock down to secure the size-adjusted footstrap tightness.
