EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK LENGTH AND TERRAIN The total distance we will be covering throughout the Everest Base Camp Trek is approximately 92 kilometres. Our trek will start every day after breakfast at about 8am and there will be many opportunities to stop and take photos for you to create memories and have a cup of tea along the trek. The pace is slow and the trekking path allows for excellent adjustment and includes two rest days(rest and sightseeing) on ascent. At the start of the trek the distances covered in a day are shorter but there are a few hills which can we tackle easily with help of our expertise. As we trek more and the altitude increase the distance we need to cover in a day also increases ,but the gradient is more consistent and even so the trek should go quite smooth in 14 days. Most days trekking is finished by early to mid afternoon and you can enjoy or rest in the evening . Many people think they have to 'climb' to Everest Base Camp, but it's purely a trek. The trek is along well-trodden and defined paths. The last trek is on glacial plain, which is covered in crushed rocks. There are no points for us that require ropes, though there are a few high footbridges that crosses the Dudh Koshi river several times below Namche Bazar.
