On the 4 to 6 August, Special Olympics Perth Metro North took a team of 36 tenpin bowlers and 12 officials to the WADSA Regional Tenpin Bowling tournament in Bunbury. The team stayed at Koombana Bay and a lot of fun was had by all. On the trip down, one of our buses got a flat tyre so a big thank you to our resident mechanic and handy man, Kim Armstrong, for changing the tyre to ensure we all arrived safely in Bunbury. The games were played in a competitive but fun spirit and the following Metro North athletes collected an award.
