Integration
An interior perspective viewing the landscape to showcase the perception of unity with nature while standing inside the house..

Nature
A conceptual hybrid drawing about the geometric and abstract shapes in nature that overlap with the composition of the elements to create a singular, beautiful view.

Flow
A 3-dimensional model, in which I chose to highlight the material, solid vs void, circulation and viewing elements of the house. These elements flow together as purposeful ideas in designing the house.

Model
The elements I imitated from the case study house include the wood and plexiglass materiality, solid vs void, structure supports, circulation, single entry/exit, and integration with nature. Because I wanted to keep the center out of view from the homeowner, I located it in and above the trees, offering extended viewing range and creating hierarchy, as the site is what the visitors are coming to view.

Inspired by the vortex feeling of being succumbed by the eyes of the building, this collage is my interpretation of what that experience would look like.

Mapping Diagramming Vectors Starting with a base map of Philadelphia, I diagrammed the most dense ethnic population in that area. When combined about 15 other students` diagrams, I used line weight, color, texture, hierarchy, etc. to make an abstract composition filled with information.
