Friday Night Fireworks

Every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day celebrate summer with the traditional Friday Night Fireworks. Best viewing on the bay side from Palm to Amberjack streets. Fireworks start at 9:15 PM. Sponsored by Louie's Backyard and the South Padre Island Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Summer Fireworks Over the Bay

Our favorite way to enjoy the Island over the summer involves some work—as in Fireworks at Louie's Backyard. Enjoy the show starting June 2, with fireworks shows continuing every Tuesday and Friday at 9:15 PM all summer long. The fireworks are best viewed from the Entertainment District. There are a number of bay-side restaurants to view the fireworks from, too.

Summer Fireworks on the Beach

Thursdays are for fireworks over the Gulf from the Isla

Grand Beach Resort’s Sandbar Courtyard. The show starts at 9:15 PM

Summer Fireworks at Clayton's

Head to the pier behind the Courtyard by Marriot and Clayton’s Beach Bar & Grill for this nighttime extravaganza, which kicks off at 9 PM every Friday and Saturday through Labor Day Weekend. Watch as the sky lights up with dazzling bursts of color, all beautifully reflected off the waves, and enjoy live music, drinks, and food options galore. And best of all, this family-friendly event is entirely free.
