CHEERS TO VSO’S NEW SEASON
The Valley Symphony Orchestra’s highly anticipated 2023-2024 season kicked off with the 2nd Annual VSOktoberfest Musicians Appreciation Event at the University Draft House Townlake in McAllen. Hosted by the VSO’s Board of Directors and staff, the event celebrated the talent and commitment of the orchestra’s heart and soul - the musicians - who grace the McAllen Performing Arts Center stage for five masterworks and four education concerts from November to April, plus community events throughout the entire year. Oktoberfest-themed food and drink were plentiful, and each musician went home with a raffle prize, including a weekend getaway to South Padre Island!
