Experience the power of unity and compassion as over 1,500 individuals came together at Mission Regional Medical Center for the 14th Annual Mission Pink 5K Walk/Run for Breast Cancer Awareness. This event shattered records and raised crucial funds for life-saving mammograms for uninsured women in the Valley.
Patients, survivors, sponsors, volunteers, and elected officials, including esteemed figures like Hidalgo County Commissioner Everardo Villarreal and Mission Mayor Norie Garza, all came together to make Mission Pink an unforgettable experience.
The day started with a special invocation by Fr. Roy Snipes, followed by invigorating Zumba warm-ups with Claudia Proa. As the sea of pink flooded the nearby streets, the community united under the powerful slogan, “Her Fight is OUR Fight.”
Kane Dawson, the CEO of Mission Regional, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the event’s Title Sponsor, H.E.B., as well as Sapphire Sponsors such as the Mission Consolidated Independent School District, the City of Mission, Beautilase MedSpa, Telemundo, and SOCIALIFE Magazine.
