Kelsey Grammer, Julia Stiles, and Colman Domingo star in The God Committee, written and directed by Austin Stark. The intriguing medical drama explores the organ transplant system. When the recipient of a donor heart dies on the operating table, five doctors have one hour to decide between three patients to receive the life saving heart. The story gets complicated as personal morals get in the way of the decision. Stark said, “The storyline explores the unexpected impact of that one decision: how it ripples over time and alters the course of many lives.”

The non-profit Hope in a Box held its gala “Books That Make Us.” The event celebrated inclusive LGBTQ+ books and stories that are making an impact in schools. The event featured the authors Zach Stafford, David Levithan, Emily Danforth, and Becky Albertalli. The organization reaches more than 70,000 students, including 500 schools throughout all 50 states.
