Charles Saffati and his son Morris of Carlton Fine Arts are known for selling work ranging from Andy Warhol and Basquiat to Chagall to Mr. Brainwash at their elegant three-floor Madison Avenue gallery. This spring they introduced Linjie Deng, an emerging Chinese conceptual artist to their roster. They are showing Deng’s critically acclaimed works created in response to both the pandemic and the recent attacks on the Asian community throughout the country. The new show is called Asian Art Spa and features pop art interpretations of Hello Kitty and pandas. carltonfa.com
