Begin with a brief summary of your book. “Hitler” by Albert Marrin is a biography about the German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Hitler ruled Germany for 12 years, from 1933 when his party won the majority to 1945 when he shot himself eight meters underground in his bunker at the end of the war. Adolf was born in a small town in Austria Braunau, in 1889, his was the only child, and as he called himself “mother’s darling” Hitler dropped out of school and moved to Vienna where he applied to a school of arts. After being rejected twice he decided that maybe art wasn’t supposed to be his path in life and moved to politics. He joined a small party called the Nazi, with which he rose to power, and in 1936 he became the fuher of Germany. Secretly he rose his country to military power, ignoring the regulations the Versailles Treaty put Germany on. When he felt strong enough in 1939 he started the WW2 by attacking Poland alongside with the Soviet Union, after early victories the tide turned and Hitler started losing the war. Finally on April 30th he committed suicide and a week later Germany surrendered, to the allies. b. What are at least 2 reasons why you think someone else would enjoy this memoir? Reason
