SCANDINAVIAN JEWELLERY

On the small island of Dyrön, in its gold and silver forge, designer Tintin Hallding offers you an experience out of the ordinary, when it comes to both the arts and the environment. In summer, you can also stop here for a coffee break. Make sure you take a hike on the Dyrö trail that offers magnificiant views and beautiful spots before you hit the next island.

Eva Sasioglu designs and manufactures jewellery in organic forms with a nod to ethnic influences. The studio is also home to paintings that move between arts and crafts, sculpture and fine art.

SILVER WIJK

Inspired by nature’s designs, Emelie mixes different types of materials to create jewellery in her silver forge. She loves to work with gold and silver, diamonds and pearls. She creates unique stainless-steel lanterns with motifs inspired by nature. These and other pieces are available in her boutique filled with jewellery, ceramics and interior design.

HEIKE AHRENDS

In a light and airy workshop on Mjörn close to Sundsby, Heike Ahrends creates playful and impressive oil paintings. The texture of her paintings is as individual as a person’s face of age and experience. She writes poems with colour and her aim is that the viewer should find their own way in her work. The summer exhibition in the workshop takes place during week 30. For visits at other times please call and book an appointment.

In her workshop/shop, Catarina Hjälmén creates her unique jewelry, made from leather, stones, wood and other reused materials. She wants to tell a story with her jewelry – a memory where the past meets the present.

Glass artist Lars Sestervik creates world class glass and visual art inspired by movement, lines, shades and dynamics that last for a long time and constantly tells us something new. In an old factory surrounded by an orchard, you can experience a unique exhibition with glass and visual arts. In a valley along the sea on the inside of Orust, you will find beautiful Sesterviken.
