A woman wants a grandson getting pregnant using eggs from her deceased daughter
In Argentina, infertility affects one in six couples, equivalent to 15% of the total, a figure that remains constant around the world. It is a much more common condition than one can imagine. Surely you know a family member or friend / or having this problem. It is an emotionally difficult and complex situation personally and, of course, that may affect the dynamic relationship of the couple.
This is a very important discovery because it enables us to identify a cause that until now was unknown. But more efforts will be made scientifically from now to identify other genes that are responsible for male infertility and, in turn, determine whether the prevalence of this genetic alteration is higher in other populations studied.
Such findings today are very encouraging, since they are one hope for in the future to solve this problem with new treatments (independent of current successful fertility treatments) to a significant part of our country, who dreams all days with a family.
