VÍZIA PRE KRNOV
urbanism in Senica
ADAPTÁCIA BROWNFIELD SENICA
The design is placed in the territory of the former industrial complex in Senica (SR). In the north, the territory is defined by the Teplica river, which forms an important part of the design concept. The urban design divides the territory into imaginary 3 sectors - the sector of four-storey villas of a higher standard located along Teplica, the sector of three-storey villas and the sector of civic amenities. The architecture, especially through the material solution, works with reminiscence of the industrial history of the place. The proposal is supplemented by parking areas, cycle paths and an extensive network of pedestrian paths. In the northern part, the waterway is lined with a pedestrian road - the so-called promenade, which offers residents a pleasant walk by the water, including elements such as a skate park and children’s playground, waterfront with a cafe and parkour spots.
02 family house in Brno
With its solution, the double-house organically follows the character of a low-rise, above-standard residential district. An elegant, articulated, yet compact residential building containing two atriums and a generous front garden. The dynamics of mass division, built on the contrasts of the spatial solution and high-quality natural materials are the architectural signature. Nevertheless, the solution of the object is mainly an adequate response to the territorial technical conditions. Everything was determined by the perfect illumination and sunlight of the living spaces and the potential for extraordinary views of the landscape. The necessary capacity of parking spaces, are solved in the northern part of the property. The white glazed minimalist architecture, as if drowned in greenery, will provide residents a cozy home.
03 library in Krnov
32
The center of Krnov was once surrounded by ancient walls. Today, city parks have been created in their footprints, which serve not only for recreation, but also to improve the microclimate and urban environment. The parcel, as part of the circuit, disrupts this phenomenon and creates a barrier. Ironically, this very place was once a gateway. The goal was to reconnect the historical footprint of the walls through greenery and architecture.
When designing the urban planning solution for the given locality, I focused on the main routes and better passability through the area itself. New routes in the area further defined the territory for me. I added a concert hall to the Church of the Holy Spirit, which would add capacity, or enable other types of events such as concerts. A library was created on the corner, which is the main subject of the whole solution.
future forest Olomouc
Extremely high temperatures, floods and deep cracks in the rockhard earth. That is quite a possible future for city of Olomouc. How to prepare a hundreds-year-old city for climate change? A green wedge driven into the heart of historic city gives its residents enormous hope. However, a fundamental prerequisite for a sustainable future is a return to the ancient mechanisms of nature, which lead to the renewal of the landscape and life.
In this design, me and a team of my classmates planted a floodplain forest not only in the city center to symbolize the context of scientific, cultural and spiritual development. Thanks to the technologies of the future, which is based on current knowledge, a science-fantasy park was created. With its vision it exceeds the imaginable horizons of the further development of our planet and society.
05 apartments by teahouse
In my pre-diploma, I analyzed the archetype building types for Japanese architecture: house, tea house and a temple. With that naturally came the question of how to adapt these forms in our country without creating ordinary copies or having to label these buildings. How do those forms differ from our counterparts? What shaped them? Of course, the different environment and technical requirements for buildings (high humidity, frequent earthquakes) played an important role, but ritual was one of the essential formative aspects. The Japanese value norms and rules very much. This means that customs were an integral part, not only of architecture. The tea house was created by adapting to the needs of the tea ceremony. The house itself has a correlation with several rituals of everyday life, from ikebana, through the preparation of meals to cleansing the body. The motif of purification is central to all three forms. Japan is a country rich in thermal springs, the so-called onsens. Many of them, as part of accommodation facilities, are a very popular place for regeneration. Slovakia, as a much smaller country, also has considerable thermal wealth. Most of it used commercially in our country. In the place near the village of Kalameny under the Chočské vrchy, there is one of these springs. The famous thermal baths Lúčky and Liptovský hrad are located nearby. The goal of this work is to implement spatial forms in the given location inspired by the ritual of tea, the ritual of purification and the visit to the temple, as well as the connection of connections between “European” and “Japanese”, which have not yet been connected.
POHĽAD VÝCHOD
POHĽAD SEVER
POHĽAD VUH
POHĽAD ZÁPAD
The goal of the urban design of the location was a gradual transition from a busy street with civic amenities through an urban park to a forest park, providing intimacy and privacy. The chess-board floor plan, the slope of the terrain and the layout create views and contact with nature in the area for each of the apartment buildings. Individual buildings with a square floor plan respect the surrounding buildings with their character of villas.

07 townhouse reconstruction
Reconstructing a traditional Porto tiled townhouse while preserving its historic structure is a delicate yet rewarding endeavor. With a focus on retaining the essence of the original design, the approach puts emphasizes on the importance of maintaining the integrity of the building’s framework, dating back to the 18th or 19th centuries. By carefully repairing any damage and fortifying weak areas, the aim was to safeguard the architectural authenticity that defines Porto’s tiled townhouses. Adding a new terrace outer structure became a focal point, seamlessly integrating modern design with traditional elements to expand living space and provide an outdoor retreat. By harmonizing materials like wood and wrought iron with the original stone and tilework, we created a tranquil oasis that respects Porto’s architectural heritage while offering residents a versatile area for relaxation and socializing.Inside the house, we maximized space utilization by transforming tiny rooms into flexible, modifiable spaces with variable functions.
In collaborating with the team of ATA architects on the project of a school for the future generation of healthcare professionals, our shared vision was to create more than just a structure.
Together, we meticulously analyzed the complex requirements of the program, considering the interplay between function, form, and community. Our design revolved around integrating the natural environment, fostering innovation, and seamlessly blending with the urban fabric of Bragança. Through countless discussions and iterations, we strived to strike the perfect balance between meeting the exacting standards of the Polytechnic Institute and cultivating an environment conducive to learning and growth.

09 house in Porto
In the heart of Porto, an abandoned stone house stood as a silent relic of the city’s past. Collaborating with fellow architects and conservationists, I worked to transform this forgotten structure into a modern yet historically respectful living space. Through careful planning and sustainable practices, we revitalized the aged stone walls and rustic timber beams, blending the house’s rich heritage with contemporary design elements. Today, the renewed stone house stands as a testament to architectural ingenuity, bridging the gap between Porto’s history and its vibrant present. Our approach was rooted in a deep respect for the building’s history, aiming to preserve its unique character while ensuring its relevance in the modern context. By salvaging materials and integrating sustainable practices, we not only honored the past but also minimized environmental impact.
10 vila in Prague
The flowing composition of the villa for a discerning builder and his young family seamlessly integrates with the terrain through levels of ground-level structures nestled into the slope. It weaves a narrative of synergy with the magnificent natural surroundings, crowned by stunning views of the surrounding wooded landscape. Arrival terraces at the base of the slope, complemented by garages, dominate the area around a beautiful natural lake, gradually giving way to a social pavilion with an observation terrace.
Simultaneously, the social pavilion offers a small catering preparation area and several bedrooms for guests. Above, the main villa connects with a spacious and diverse main living area, a section dedicated to peaceful sleep, and a wing with a pool and sauna. At the very top, the composition concludes with a music pavilion, serving as a crucial refuge for the owner. Nevertheless, the property extends further towards its summit, providing a viewpoint ideal for serene activities like yoga or meditation. The wooden modern architecture of the residence blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, giving the entire extraordinary structure a tranquil character, composed in harmony with its surroundings.
