 The Company has a broad vision on protecting environment and adding values socially, we feel proud to be at the head of the Industry , by heavily investing in projects for environment protection (water treatment, low carbon emission, using biomass for steam generation etc.). On the social front we are active contributors to community and health support programs.

 We are proud to announce that we are the first one to achieve the SA8000:2008 certificate in Pakistan.

 Use of biomass as alternate source of fuel in lieu of mineral based fuels for steam generation, resulting in reduced carbon emissions.  Installation of state of the art gas turbine for power and steam generation , resulting in carbon reduction with its efficient fuel burning and recovery of waste heat.  Counter flow system for all washers on dyeing and finishing machines , resulting water conservation.  Dye recovery tanks for effective recovery of used dyes, thus resulting in efficient use of chemicals and dyes thus reducing the impact on environment.

 OZONE treatment machine for water and chemical free treatment for vintage effect and shade control – water and chemical conservation.  Waste water treatment plant for water treatment and then we utilize treated water for horticulture purpose.

 Utilizing waste gases and recovering its energy in the form of steam.  In order to reduce particulate matter (PM) emission levels at the gas flue of biomass systems, wet scrubber system has been installed where ash is forced through a pool of water, in order to remove undesirable particulates.


 Azgard 9 is the first Pakistani textile company to have voluntarily submitted itself for a SA-8000:2008 audit eventually betting certified.

 Wit approx. 15% females on our workforce makes us the flagship of women’s right and empowerment.
