Shortly after that I found an article on a child bride that got away from years of abuse and I found it so shocking that child brides were still a thing! So I googled it and turns out that children married off due to debt and ect. Is legal in 93 countries of the world to this day!

What are rape myths?
as my research progressed I started reading more books rather than articles and journals and found Rape history by Joanna Bourke and started thinking about rape myths rather than culture and how it impacts society.
‘A long-standing tradition of blaming women for their own violation. It is also to encourage the illusion that sexual danger loiters in social spaces, like some agentless germ that a woman can ‘catch’. The rapist is not a social virus. He is human.
‘Neil Malamuth’s startling survey of 1981 discovered that one in every three men attending college reported, hypothetically, that they would rape a woman if they could be sure that they would not be caught.
According to Clothier, upon reaching adolescence girls realized with great bitterness that they were not men. To compensate for this lack they developed fantasies of rape, particularly against fathers or father-substitutes.
