Junior Friends Age 2-4 2 year old camp: born between January 1 & June 30, 2014 (half day program only) 3 year old camp: born in 2013 4 year old camp: born in 2012 Whether its a half or full day campers are in for a great time. Sports, music, arts & crafts, swimming and drama are just some of the exciting activities that our Junior Friends enjoy. With warm and loving staff and a kid-friendly preschool facility, your children will truly feel like this is a home away from home.

An unforgettable full day of theme-based summer activities planned specifically for our Senior Friends! From arts & crafts to sports, dance, swimming and field trips, every week is jam packed with exciting activities.
Junior Jocks for Boys and Girls Age 6-7 These athletes spend their days playing sports and games while learning athletic skills and sportsmanship. Junior Jocks is a great way to prepare for Travelling Sports Camp in summers to come. Register early. Space is limited.
CIT Camp Entering grade 8 & 9 Attention future counselors! Join our Counselor-in-Training program and learn the skills required to work with children by participating in camp activities and program planning. CITs get to enjoy all of the fun that camp has to offer while gaining valuable work experience.

Blast Off Week
Kick off the first week of summer with a party! Radical Ray’s visits with some cool science experiments involving volcanoes and explosions. A great way to get the summer going!
Under the Big Top

Music, treats, face painting and more. Get up close to the animals at our Petting Zoo and finish off the week with an unforgettable camp carnival.

Weekly Themes
July 18 - 22
It’s a week of hot tropical fun! Cool off with sprinklers and water games. The week wraps up with a Hawaiian Luau.
Jurassic Island
July 25 - 29
Dino size fun! Go on an archaeological dig for all kinds of cool treasures and get crafty with Jurassic themed art. A treasure hunt will have campers scouring the JCC for hidden gems and fossils. Older campers visit the Museum of Nature.
H2-Whoa!
Summer Olympics at the SJCC August 8 – 12 Get ready for Camp Wide Summer Olympics with a Mini Maccabi twist. Soccer matches, balloon toss, egg races and scavenger hunt plus Camper vs Counselor challenges.
Disney Days
August 15 - 19
Dig out your costumes and dress up as your favourite character. Be mesmerized at a magic show, and be a red carpet star at our weeks end Hollywood premiere.

An exciting new activity each day to end a great summer; Friendship Day, PJ Day, Superhero Day, Make a Mess Day and End of Summer Bash Day! Day Camp prices on page 9.

Enjoy wacky water activities all week. Water balloon toss, sponge tag, three legged races, obstacle courses and extra free swim. Dunk your counselor in the famous dunk tank and cool off with refreshing icy treats.

Travelling Sports Camp At Travelling Sports Camp the emphasis is on fun and participation as the kids enjoy a wide variety of recreational sports and exciting adventures throughout the beautiful Ottawa Valley. Mornings at the Soloway JCC include daily Instructional swim along with a range of sports including soccer, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, flag football, badminton, ball hockey, softball, fencing, squash, racquetball and ultimate frisbee. Our own Olympic format, JCC Ottawa Maccabi Games, is also a part of this unique summer time experience. Afternoon off-site adventures include: ice skating, golf instruction, windsurfing, mini putt, gymnastics, bowling, trampoline, pony and horseback riding, canoeing, banana boarding and tubing, go-carting, wave pools, Calypso and Mont Cascades Water Parks, rock climbing, zip-lining at Camp Fortune, NCC beaches and more. Everybody is a winner at Travelling Sports Camp!

The Travelling Sports Camp CIT program gives future leaders the opportunity to enjoy a variety of sports and recreational activities while gaining leadership experience.

The camper must be a member of the SJCC for the duration of their time at camp in order to benefit from membership prices. A 25% deposit is required at the time of registration, $100 of which is non-refundable. The balance is due May 30.
