Blinds Z90 - motor driven Design description External blinds of the type Soltec Z90 possess a specific shape of slats that are 90 mm wide and fit perfectly one onto another. All slats are fixed onto the lifting ladder cord by inox fasteners and have a rubber profile integrated in the slat itself, thus ensuring a quality grip and the best possible darkening of a room among standard blinds. Slats revolve around their axis with the help of a pulley or a motor. The mechanism for lifting, lowering, and rotating slats enables the stability of slats in the wind. Side guides are made of extruded aluminium of dimensions 18x22mm or 18x24mm and are rubber coated, which provides for mooth and silent slipping of slats. Advantages of external blinds are the following: • Protection from light and regulation of light in a room • Quality darkening of a room • Protection from ultraviolet rays • Protection from the sun’s thermal energy • Service life from 15 to 20 years Due to specific Z-shaped slat, the blinds also have the following advantages: 1) Because the slat is fixed onto the lift cord, it is more stable in the wind than standard external blinds. 2) The package of slats is even smaller than with trapezoid slat, because Z90 slat is wider and mostly because the slat’s holding onto the cord enables ideal folding. 3) The closing of slats is ideal.
