QD75M(H) Motion Modules Add Motion to Your Q Series Automation Platform™
Discover the Many Facets of Mitsubishi Electric. The Power in Automation Solutions.
Advanced Flexible Features Flash ROM Memory QD75M(H) modules are an ideal addition to the Q Series Automation Platform for servo motion control. Applications can be independent axis control or coordinated motion. Available in one, two or four axis models, the QD75M(H) occupies only one rack slot and uses 64 points of system I/O. Total number of controlled axes can be 256. The QD75M(H) utilizes SSCNET and SSCNETIII, Mitsubishi Electric’s dedicated motion networks to communicate with our high performing family of intelligent digital servo drives. SSCNET and SSCNETIII allow for outstanding speed and performance of motion tasks, seamless transfer of data, such as parameters and diagnostics, real time monitoring, as well as reduced wiring and cost. SSCNETIII uses an optical communication system for even higher speed, accuracy and reliability with our MR-J3 Series. Programming motion is simplified by using the Windows based GX Configurator-QP. The easy to use software facilitates programming, program simulation, high speed monitoring, data transfer and test functions.
The QD75M(H) uses a Flash ROM based memory for storing motion profiles, parameter and operating system data, eliminating the need for battery back-up of the memory and battery scheduled maintenance.
600 Motion Profiles Per Axis
The QD75M(H) can store all the data required to execute 600 motion profiles per axis. This includes the pattern control method, coordination information, acceleration and deceleration time, velocity, dwell, M-codes and more.
35 Different Control Methods
Offering numerous control methods, the QD75M(H) is flexible enough to handle almost any motion control requirement. Control methods include linear and circular interpolation, switching between velocity and position modes, multiple axis simultaneous start, fixed-feed control, and point-to-point positioning.

Interpolation
The QD75M(H) is capable of 2 axis circular interpolation to perform either circular or arc moves. Additionally, linear interpolation can be coordinated between 2-4 axes. Forward direction Center point of circle
Software
GX Configurator-QP is one of the many Windows速 based software packages that is part of the MELSOFT integrated suite of development tools. This easy to use package simplifies programming, monitoring, and testing the functions of the QD75M(H). The software is compatible with Windows速 95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP platforms.

Acceleration and Deceleration Flexibility
Acceleration and deceleration times can be programmed individually. Both have 4 different settings to allow for variable profiles for different move types. Forward direction
Distance
S-Pattern acceleration and deceleration is also available with changeable times and shapes. This feature significantly reduces the amount of mechanical stress and wear on the system. X-Y Table Application
Sealing Table Application
With GX Configurator-QP, motion profiles are easily programmed. The menu driven Windows速 program provides access to all 600 positions and parameters for each axis. With standard cut and paste operation, the software can easily move portions of the program.
Test
The various test modes enable all of the functions of the QD75M(H) to be tested without having to program the sequence control. This feature allows for parallel development of the motion control and sequence programs, greatly reducing development and troubleshooting time.
Monitor
The monitor mode serves as an excellent diagnostic tool. While in this mode the programmer has access to several methods of high-speed monitoring including position data, programs, memory addresses and I/O.
