Four Philosophies of Marketing
Geoffrey B. Small actively implemented the marketing concept by focusing of great product, great value, communication with the customers on an honest level and great service. He really wanted to give the customer’s what they wanted.
Geoffrey also became an activist in environment and civil rights, this can also be important to customer’s, they enjoy purchasing products from companies who agree with how they feel about things like recycling for example.Marketing is much more than just advertising.
There are four philosophies most common to marketing. According to Lamb, Hair, & McDaniel, 2014; production orientation, sales orientation, marketing orientation, and societal marketing orientation. Product orientation is described as; when a company focuses only on what they make or supply.
