One discovered that the marketing mix (or four Ps) is a combination of product, place, promotion, and pricing strategies. The beginning element of the marketing mix is the product offering—tangible goods, ideas, or services (Alex, 2012).
Place or distribution strategies are making products available for the convenience of customers who want them. Promotion is involved with advertising, public relations, sales promotion, and personal selling (Alex, 2012).
