13.5-Question: One of the major reasons why survey research may not be effective is that the survey instruments are less useful than they should be. What would you say are the four possiblemajor faults of survey instrument design?
There are many things that can go wrong when surveying people; the book mentions a few: unethical treatment of participants, meaning benefits, deception and more; people not responding to services; human error; sampling error, measurement questions and survey instruments; and the participants (Cooper & Schindler, 2014).
These all happen when conducting surveys. It is important to know how to reduce the error percentage rate. The main focus of this paper will be reducing the error of the survey instruments (Cooper & Schindler, 2014). There are ways that a researcher can minimize the error of their questions and answers.
