Lesson 5: Cause-and-Effect and Persuasion Paragraphs
Assignment 20:
Cause-and-Effect Paragraphs
In the real world, identifying causes and their effects is anything but simple. For one thing, especially incomplex systems like organisms, causes and effects interact to produce new causes and, thereby, neweffects that may interact with previous causes.
Be that as it may, let’s say that the most likely causes of poverty include social inequality, racism, inadequate wages, personal disability, a lack of education, orsome mixture of any or all of the above. So, we see that poverty appears to have more than one cause.
Furthermore, in the real world, it can be very difficult to identify the most significant causal factors. To illustrate this fuzziness, let’s reverse the matter and treat poverty as a cause.
