BU450 Leadership Skills April 14, 2019
Part A
Describe charismatic leadershipin your own words. There is a certain public speaker who has a way of causing millions of people to gravitatetowards him with only his words.
He is so convincingly attractive that if he said the sky is red and not blue, people might start to rethink what they have been taught their entire lives.
The “good” public image that he has is just the cherry on top because people always focus on appearances. He always seems to say the right thing, with the right pauses, the right eye contact, and the right smile.
While I will not disclose this individual’s name, he is the epitome of charm; the root word for charisma or a charismatic leader.
Charismatic leaders are usually very persuasive and may be overly optimistic. They communicate eloquently and are very firm in their beliefs [Afs12].
