Kinesics is a form of nonverbal communication that refers to body language, gestures, and facial expressions that allows one to deliver messages that reinforce, reiterate, or contradict what is being said without ever saying a word. We sometimes unknowingly perform these gestures.
For example, if a person says something we do not understand, we may shrug our shoulders and hold our hands out to the side. Different gestures have different meanings to different cultures.
There is always the possibility the nonverbal communication will be misinterpreted by people of other cultures.In comparison to the United States and Latin America, there is a big difference.
