Introduction
In the ever-changing world of HR, the professionals that manage this diverse field must be able to adapt to the diverse pool of candidates and how to best connect with them.
To accomplish this goal, there are several elements that an HR professional must be familiar with in order to be successful.
These elements encompass a full array of the employee’s from potential candidates to veteran employees; as such the HR professional must be well versed in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention, learning, and development, as well as the SHRM competency model.
It is these elements that will be discussed throughout the following paragraphs of this paper.
