oFor learning goals, a person is motivated to learn from others to increase ones’ ability and achievement. For performance goals, a person is trying to put on a good performance so others can evaluate your abilities.
Those working on learning goals are not afraid of failing cause they figure out the cause of the failure then try again and learning with each try. A person that has performance goals are more worried with the way others may perceive them then with actually learning.
