Anticipating Organizational Challenges to Leadership Approach
In my 23 years of living, I have learned a lot of things from many people. Family, teachers, coworkers, friends, and many others. In reviewing who I am as a leader, I have been able to identify areas that need improvement and areas where I do well.
Most interestingly, I have learned that some of the traits I have viewed as flaws are actually useful in being a leader. The ideal leadership traits I identified in the first week of class were educated, open-minded, and collaborative.
When I identified educated, I wanted to clarify that by this I also mean experienced. It doesn’t necessarily depend on the level of someone’s education, but their experience and problem solving abilities that make them great leaders.
