Findings
Though multiples levels were designed into the attachment scales, overall hypothesis was supported. Those with insecure attachments have a higher rate of avoidance and anxiety in their interpersonal relationships.
Higher levels of preoccupied and fearful attachment style attributed to their association with low self-esteem. This research study stood in congruence with previous research in that, insecure attachments were shown to be associated with lower life satisfaction, suggesting an association with lower wellbeing.
