The logo represents Let’s dance and their core values; friendly, positive, professional and committed. The lettering is friendly and happy, and reflects the dance studio’s good, positive environment. The logo is also professional and communicates that this is a committed and serious dance studio. The soft lettering with delicate movement makes this logo represents the beauty of movement, and everything that is good about dance. It is also young and suitable for the target audience.

The smallest size for the main logo is 37 mm. If the logo needs to be used even smaller, it can be between 37 mm down till 29 mm if it is used without the words “dancestudio” underneath. On clothing and some brand applications the logo can be used tilted, then with an 260 angle. The same rules for size applies when the logo is beeing tilted.

The logo always has to have space around itself. The minimum spacing it can have from a corner or other design elements is one “a” taken out of the logo.

Novecento Sans Wide is to be used as display font for headlines, posters and short phrases. Longer text will always be set in Calibri. These two fonts give Let’s Dance a young and clean look, which goes well with the otherwise colourful and bold identity.

The colours represent Let’s Dance and their values; Red is for energy, happiness and passion. Turquoise for freshness, freedom and purity. Purple for Tranquillity, stability and no stress. Green is for nature, honesty and trust. The colours can be used alone or two and two together. All four colours are not to be used at the same time, for example one page/poster can maximum have two colours, this is to always keep the design clean.

The identity has some belonging marbled patterns which represents the beauty of movement and creativity. These structures can be used within the logo and the icons. This adds more motion and colour to the identity. The purple and red pattern above to the left is the Main pattern which is the one that will be used on business cards,stationary, covers and website.

When a new student signs up with Let’s Dance they get a free t-shirt. This will create a cohesion and belonging to the dance studio. On clothing the logo can be used in different versions, but it can never be used to big or to small. It should always be air around the logo, and it can not be used smaller than minimum size set earlier in the guidelines. It can be used tilted, horizontal and with the set marbled patterns. Clothing can also be designed with belonging dancer icons on them.

To promote Let’s Dance a wall out in the streets of Trondheim will be painted in the marbled pattern style, and it will be a competition of taking the coolest dance picture in front of this wall. The winner will win a free membership. They will use the hashtag #beautyofmovement to enter the competition. This is the official hashtag of letsdance and their campaign, and it should be used on all social media.
