ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: On Sunday afternoon, August 28, 2011, a citizen that lives near the Thrift Shop noticed smoke coming from the building and called Charles County "911" Center. Investigation revealed that power was restored approximately 18 minutes before the fire was noticed. Investigation revealed that a surge protector was the cause of the fire. No reported injuries.
