DISCOVERED BY: Neighbor NATURE OF SERVICE REQUEST: 5 chemical reaction Improvise Explosive Devices (Soda Bottle Bombs) were recovered, 3 which had exploded and 2 which had not yet exploded. ACTION TAKEN / RESOLUTION: Rendered safe the two unexploded devices & collected evidence ASSISTING AGENCIES: ATF FBI MSP OTHER Charles County Sheriff's Office ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Neighbors reportedly heard loud explosions in the neighborhood at about midnight, the night before. They assumed it was some kind of fireworks and celebration from the Super Bowl and therefore ignored the commotion until they discovered the debris from the exploded devices on the street the next day. The Charles County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and requested the State Fire Marshal's Bomb Squad. Upon examination of the scene, two additional devices were discovered and were rendered safe by Bomb Technicians. A criminal investigation is continuing.
