CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED FOR VEHICLE FIRE CHARLES COUNTY, MD (June 29, 2012) – Deputy State Fire Marshals have concluded an investigation into a vehicle fire that occurred during the evening of May 20, 2012 at the dead-end of Cemetery Road in Indian Head, Maryland. Investigators were called to investigate the remains of a burned vehicle, later determined to be a 2004 Cadillac Escalade belonging to Anna Melissa Prosise (26) of Woodbridge, Virginia. During the investigation, it was determined Prosise was responsible for the arson of her vehicle and was charged by a criminal summons late afternoon on June 28, 2012 for charges of: Arson 2nd Degree and Fraud. If convicted of the charges, Prosise faces a penalty of up to 25 years imprisonment and/or $35,000 in fines. A preliminary court date has been scheduled for August 20, 2012.
