WALDORF MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON INSIDE BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT CALVERT COUNTY, MD (September 13, 2012) – Deputy State Fire Marshals have charged Jason Brandt Anderson (32) of Waldorf, MD with setting a trash can on fire in his place of employment. On July 12, 2012, investigators were requested to investigate a fire inside the restroom at R&R Fabrications located at 170 Schooner Lane in Prince Frederick, Calvert County. The owner, Randy Williams, stated employees quickly extinguished the 12:00 p.m. blaze that caused approximately $5,000 in damages to the restroom. No injuries were reported during the incident. The investigation revealed that Anderson was responsible for starting the blaze. An arrest warrant was served at approximately 10:00 a.m. today against Anderson at R&R Fabrications without incident. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he is awaiting bond review before the District Court Commissioner. Anderson was charged with (1) count of Arson 2nd Degree and (1) count of Malicious Destruction of Property over $500.00. If convicted of the charges he faces a penalty of up to 23 years imprisonment and/or $32,500 in fines. ### Media contact: Bruce D.
