DISCOVERED BY: Occupant AREA OF ORIGIN: Interior of attached garage PRELIMINARY CAUSE: Accidental ASSISTING AGENCIES: ATF FBI MSP OTHER Calvert County Animal Control ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The accidental fire was the result an improperly disposed smoking material. While in the neighborhood, a Calvert County Animal Control Officer noticed smoke coming from the garage and stopped to render assistance. The Animal Control Officer met the single occupant as he was evacuating the house. The fire department arrived and contained the fire to the garage area.
