ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: An Officer from the St. Mary's Sheriff's Office discovered smoke coming from the above residence. The Lexington Park VFD responded and discovered a fire in the living room. The tenant was not at home at the time of the fire. The investigation revealed that embers from the fireplace ignited nearby conbustibles. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
