DISCOVERED BY: Owners/Neighbors AREA OF ORIGIN: Interior of mailboxes PRELIMINARY CAUSE: Intentional ASSISTING AGENCIES: ATF FBI MSP OTHER St. Mary's County Sheriffs Office ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Two separate mailboxes were found to be completely destroyed as a result of an explosion. There were no injuries as a result of the incident. The investigation to identify what was used to destroy the mailboxes is continuing and anyone who may have information about the crime is urged to contact the State Fire Marshal’s Office at 443-550-6834.
