Consultant medical service in GI and Hepatology in Harford County, MD Involved in 100% clinical activity and serve as QA director of the Endoscopy Center of our practice. I was able to enforce the following changes in endoscopic practice: a) withdrawal time of colonoscope from cecum to anus of 6 minutes or more, b) following ACG guidelines in adhering to recall time for patients with colon polyp and c) evaluating adenoma detection rate for each gastroenterologist in the practice which has a total of five gastroenterologists.

Established a Gastroenterology clinic with two endoscopy centers in rural India with active cooperation of gastroenterologists in the UK and USA. The center opened in July, 2009 and consultative and endoscopic services are provided free of cost. I volunteer my time along with others annually for the project. I organized one of the first few medical relief teams to Sri Lanka, when the country was hit by Tsunami and organized medical camps in make shift dispensaries in tsunami affected areas during Feb, 2005.
