NIH INSTRUMENTATION GRANT PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT

Application Deadline: March 23, 2010 NCRR has released the PA for their annual Shared Instrumentation Grant Program (S10; PAR10082). This is not being funded by ARRA funds. This is their standard program announcement with an anticipated pot of $43 million available this year. The minimum instrument cost is $100,000 while the maximum award will be $600,000. Those who submitted S10 grants last year, but were not funded, may want to consider addressing the comments from the reviews and resubmitting these grants this year. Since this is not being supported by stimulus funds, it is not expected that this year’s competition will have as large a response as last year. If anyone anticipates submitting a new or revised application, please contact Nick Ambulos (nambulos@som.umaryland.edu) to let him know. The new program announcement can be found at the following link: http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pafiles/PAR10082.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
