Semi Pedestal Basin
Semi Pedestal Basins are wall hung basins secured to a supporting wall. They conceal pipework that returns through the wall with a semi pedestal that does not reach the foor. These basins provide your bathroom with more foor space.
Full Pedestal Basin
Full pedestal basins are wall mounted basins attached to a supporting wall. The foor mounted pedestal conceals the pipework, creating a seamless and cohesive look for your space.
Semi Recessed Basin
A semi-recessed basin are partially embedded into a countertop or vanity unit. The front of the basin protrudes outward, while the rear part is recessed into the countertop. This optimizes countertop space, making them suitable for smaller bathrooms or compact layouts.
Countertop Basin
Countertop Basins positioned on top of a countertop unit or shelf are best paired with a tall basin tap, or wall mounted tap. The SONAS range of countertop basins are available in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes.
Close Coupled – Open Back
A Closed Coupled Open Back style WC has the pan and cistern closely coupled together with the necessary clearance space for your waste pipe. This provides more fexibility for your pipework and can be easily accommodated within most bathrooms.
Back To Wall
Back To Wall toilets are a great space saving technique. The main difference between this style and the Closed Coupled toilet is that the cistern is concealed behind your bathroom wall, or placed in a furniture WC unit.
Close Coupled – Fully Shrouded
A Closed Coupled Fully Shrouded toilet has the pan and cistern closely coupled together. In this design, the pan is seen to meet with your wall. This allows you to conceal your bathroom pipework.
Wall Hung
Wall hung toilets are installed by mounting them on the wall, resulting in a more spacious bathroom layout. To install them, a sturdy fast fx frame is placed behind the wall, which can support up to 400kg of weight. The fushing mechanisms of these toilets can be conveniently accessed through a push plate.
Our Brushed Gold and Brushed Nickel fush plate fnishes are applied using Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). This is a technology that creates a thin flm on the surface, giving them superior durability and making them more resistant to wear & tear.

These WCs are the perfect solution if you are short on space. SONAS Short Projection WCs allow you to maximise your space without compromising on quality and functionality.
COMFORT HEIGHT
SONAS Comfort Height WCs are an additional 40mm to 60mm higher than standard height toilets. The additional elevation offers a more comfortable sitting position.
RIMLESS
Instead of water fowing into the bowl around the rim, a direct fush technique shoots water around the edge of a smooth pan. The absence of a rim means signifcantly easier cleaning, enhanced hygiene, and improved fushing performance.
SOFT CLOSE
Soft close toilet seats feature a mechanism that enables them to close gradually and quietly, eliminating the common issue of seats slamming shut. These seats offer a noise-free and controlled descent, enhancing overall bathroom comfort.
EASY ACCESS WATER INLET
This refers to toilets that have a concealed waste outlet and exposed water inlet connection. This allows for quick and straightforward connection or disconnection of the water inlet, making installation and maintenance easier.
QUICK RELEASE
Designed for easy and effcient cleaning and maintenance, quick release seats feature a mechanism that allows for swift removal and reattachment without the need for tools. By pressing the button located on the hinges of the seat, it can be effortlessly taken off the toilet for thorough cleaning, reaching areas that are usually challenging to access.
ECO FLUSH
An innovative fushing system, with adjustable fush volumes between 2.6 up to 4.5ltrs. These toilets are sustainably conscious by reducing water consumption and having a positive impact on the environment.

COLD START TECHNOLOGY

Our Brushed Gold and Brushed Nickel fnishes are applied using Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). This is a technology that that creates a thin flm on the surface of our taps, giving them superior durability and making them more resistant to wear & tear.
TEMPERATURE LIMITER
The basin mixers ftted with this feature can be pre-set (installation optional) to limit the maximum temperature in selectable stops. This will help save energy and protect vulnerable users especially in environments where hot water can reach dangerously high temperatures.

Our taps come with extended warranty, providing peace of mind and protection for your investment.
WRAS approved products undergo rigorous testing to assess their durability and performance. By using these approved products, clients can minimize the risk of leaks and failures, preventing potential damage.
Taps with a minimum operating pressure of 0.2 bar will operate without the need of a booster pump. They only require a 2 metre vertical distance between the water source (water storage tank) and the tap outlet.
Taps with a minimum operating pressure of 0.5 bar and above require a booster pump that increases water pressure and fow.
Before purchasing taps and showers always ensure your site conditions meet the minimum operating pressure requirements. Please consult your plumber.

Your choice of concealed or exposed shower valves is a frst fx decision. A concealed shower valve is ftted in the wall before tiles are installed. Choosing this option should be decided and communicated to your installer early in your decision making process.
Exposed Showers
Exposed showers are surface mounted onto the fnished tiled wall in the showering area. All hand-showers, overhead rain heads, diverters and pipework are integrated into one exposed kit.

Dual Control - 1 Outlet Shower Valve
This valve has two controls, one for adjusting the water temperature and the other for controlling the fow of water. It’s designed to control water for one shower outlet.

Loved by installers, the easy plumb installation kit features adjustable legs and loose removable access panels with a unique fastening system. Designed to raise the tray off the foor, it is ideal in applications where the shower tray waste and pipework needs to be plumbed above the foor boards or concrete foor.
The access panels in each easy plumb kit are made to suit various sizes and therefore may need to be cut down on site to suit some tray sizes. Each panel has cut lines clearly marked to suit your tray size.

Corner/Ofset Baths
The ideal solution for space saving. Corner/Offset baths do not require a long wall as straight baths do, so they can be neatly tucked into corners where another bath may not ft. These baths are available in left or right-hand orientation.
Shower Baths
Shower Baths are the perfect balance of luxury and practicality. There are 2 styles to choose from: P-shape and L-shape. These baths are wider at the showering area for comfort when standing. Both are available in left or right-handed orientation.

Horizontal heated rails are neat, compact and perfect for placing under windows. This is usually the coldest place in the room. Placing a heated rail here will protect against the cold and makes good use of your wall space.
Speak to your qualifed installer about your heating system type and the BTU requirement. BTU (British Thermal Unit) is the measurement used to calculate how much heat output is needed to warm a room. It’s important that this is calculated accurately, to make sure your comfort level matches your space.

DELTA Ratings (ΔT)
A Delta rating on radiators, often referred to as the Delta T value, measures the temperature difference between the radiator’s average surface temperature and the room temperature. This helps select a radiator with adequate heat output to heat a room effciently. Delta T50 is the European Standard, and assumes a fow temperature of 75°C, a return temperature of 65°C, and a room temperature of 20°C. This refects the typical operating conditions in many central heating systems. Delta T30 or Lower (For Low-Temperature Systems) is used for systems like underfoor heating or heat pumps, which operate at lower fow temperatures.
BTU (British Thermal Unit)
is the measurement used to calculate how much heat output is needed to warm a room. Ensuring that your radiators and towel warmers are appropriately sized is critical for effcient operation. Equipment with too high or too low BTU ratings can lead to ineffciency, higher energy costs, and reduced comfort. Displaying the BTU values at different temperature differentials helps installers accurately size and select heating products based on the specifc requirements of both high and low-temperature heating systems. Speak to your qualifed installer about your heating system type and the BTU requirement.

1 Measure your bathroom carefully. Using our grid on the opposite page draw out your bathroom space to scale.
2 Accurately mark out all fixtures such as doors, windows and radiators, also making note of which way and how much the door protrudes into the room.

Bathroom electrical zones are defned areas in a bathroom that determine the type of electrical devices and their installation requirements to ensure safety. These zones are classifed based on proximity to water sources
ZONE 0
Represents the areas inside the bath or shower tray.
ZONE 1
Represents the area above the bath or shower tray up to 2.25m.
ZONE 2
Represents the area 60cm outside of Zone 1.
OUTSIDE ZONES (Zone 3)
Outside zones represent areas which fall outside of Zone 0, 1 and 2, generally referred to as zone 3.

All products should be cared for with a regular and suitable cleaning regime.
The use of aggressive cleaning agents should be avoided and in particular on chrome, brass and aluminium surfaces a soft damp cloth and warm soapy water is suffcient.
Suitable ventilation should be provided and in cases of bathroom furniture materials are water resistant but not water proof, therefore regular maintenance and the removal of excess water on or around the product is necessary to avoid damage.
Please note that above Warranty and extended warranties are applicable for goods installed in a domestic environment with reasonable usage. Any item installed in a public or commercial area will be subject to 1 Year Warranty. Faults must be reported within the respective Warranty period from proof of purchase date. Warranties are limited to product defects and failures arising from the manufacturing process and does not apply to products that have been damaged as a result of transit, misuse or incorrect installation.
While all products are subject to quality control checks by the manufacturer, from time to time a product or batch of products may enter the market that does not meet the necessary quality standard. SONAS Bathrooms will replace any product with a visual defect or that is manufactured outside of the allowable tolerances according to UKCA standards, however; all products must be checked for these defects by the installer as SONAS Bathrooms will not be responsible for any reftting or reftting costs associated with replacing the product.
SONAS Bathrooms must be given reasonable opportunity to inspect the product in the installed situation, if removed the product must not be destroyed but should be retained for inspection. Photographic or video media of the product in the installed situation may be requested. Suitable access must be provided in order to reasonably and cost effectively allow for a product to be repaired or replaced under warranty.
SONAS Bathrooms will not be responsible for reinstallation of products that are tiled in to areas without suitable access.
Exclusions of Warranty
Incorrect installation not in accordance with ftting instructions and best plumbing practice.
Failure to care for and maintain product as per care & maintenance guidelines.
Improper use of product not in accordance with the intended use and limitations of the product specifcations.
Wilful or negligent damage.
Ex display items.
If excess water levels are found in vanity units.
Scratches or defects reported post installation.
Products that are ftted and then reported damaged.
Damage caused by specifc environmental circumstances, excess or negative pressure in the line, insuffcient operating pressure as per the product technical specifcations, limescale or hard water, aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals.
