This decision was taken in the meeting of the Central Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the official statement, the Cabinet has approved the transfer of 34.87 hectares of land and development office of the Delhi Development Authority to the second diplomatic enclave in Dwarka, New Delhi, and Sector-24 of Dwarka phase 2. More Detail about Diplomatic Enclave 2 : Right now, a Diplomatic Enclave 2 is located in Chanakyapuri and Dwarka Embassy Area, where the Land and Development Office have allotted land for various embassies. The Ministry of External Affairs had expressed the need for more land so that diplomatic missions and international institutions could be allotted land to make Embassy in Delhi and their offices.
According to the statement, "For this, DDA has identified 34.87 hectares of land in Dwarka Sector 24 which will be transferred to the Land and Development Department. It will provide land for the second diplomatic enclave in the capital. This project is all done under the Delhi Awas Yojna. In general, the Land Pooling Policy of Delhi is the private public partnership model, and this model is mainly shaped to experience development in the outer areas of Delhi into elegant cities.
