Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna Scheme The Officers’ Awas Yojna says “housing for all 2022”; this initiative has been taken by our government to fulfill the requirement of affordable housing colonies and developing our economy by the year 2022. This mission involves the access to provide the “pucca houses” to maximum number of Indian citizens who fall under the category of lower middle class and lower income group people. This mission has been undertaken, initiated and headed by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.
Under this mission/scheme, the government aims to facilitate access to pucca houses, as mentioned earlier. This is to improve the economy by raising the graph and standards of living conditions of lower salaried people. This scheme has few major goals to achieve before the year 2022. These are –
Rehabilitation of the slums and slum dwellers – this grave step is being taken by our government to improve and rehabilitate the condition of those who are dwelling in slums.
To provide affordable houses and pucca houses to maximum number of people who fall under the category of “lower salaried/income group” by the year 2022.
The government has taken steps to improve the living conditions and raise the living standards for lower income group people through grant of Rs. 1 lakh per house, which a middle class family can afford easily.
Subsidies are being provided for all those who are individuals.
These houses cater to the needs of LIG sector and MIG sectors.
The government shook hands with the private construction (Revanta Officers Boulevard being one of them) companies and the Officers Awas Yojna to provide houses at a very affordable price. Also, our government is helping the economically weaker section of the society by giving subsidies of Rs 1 lakhs, so that maximum number of people is able to benefit from this scheme. The government is taking stern steps in order to lay the floor plan as soon as possible so that it can achieve the said target by the year 2022. It has been pushing the companies to increase the incentives that can suit their terrain, however pushing them to achieve their outcomes by the end of the commenced year.
