AMELIA necklace A forged brass or sterling arc hangs from vegetable tanned leathercord, and is adorned with Greek ceramic beads. The total length of the Aya is 36 inches. Available in white & silver, black & brass, lapis & brass, and pink & silver.
COCO bangle Brass or sterling silver bangle with gemstone detail. Available in (from top to bottom) lapis, howlite, onyx and bright pink Greek ceramic. Choose from sizes small (2 3/4 inch inner diameter) or medium (3 1/2 inch inner diameter). Extra small and large also available.

meet the makers We are William Knopp and Jessica Tata, the husband and wife team behind Son of a Sailor. The birth of the brand is inextricably tied to our own relationship--when we first met and began designing together, Son of a Sailor was the organic result.
The Son of a Sailor line is made in our Austin, Texas studio. We offer a selection of jewelry and lifestyle goods, each of which is designed, crafted and assembled with the help of the SOS production staff. Each day in the studio you will find us forging metal, wire-wrapping gemstones, cutting and finishing leather, painting, laughing, imagining and hustling. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, and strive to keep up with the pace of our own idea generation. Every Son of a Sailor piece is designed and crafted with care and function in mind, and we stand behind our products.
