Grasshopper

Grasshopper generates all architectural 3d objects such as floors, facades, trusses, and columns. In Rhino viewports, there are only building outlines. All elements are generated by variables on Grasshopper. This means that buildings can be automatically and fast altered, corresponding design developments.

利用Grasshopper 生成了所有建筑 3d 对象，例如地板、立面、桁架和柱子。 只有建筑轮廓是在rhino的视口中，所有其他元素都是由 Grasshopper 上的 变量生成的，

Summer - East wind

To maximize the ventilation by the east wind, the shell of the stadium has shadings having 1m gaps between each other. This helps not only making wind roads but also preventing concourses from being overheated by strong sunshine of Hangzhou.

为了最大限度利用东风，体育场立面留有开口，彼此之间留有1m空隙，不 仅有助于通风，也可有效防止杭州强烈的日照使室内空间过热。

Using Climate Studio, the project got to know that some areas of floor could have a big solar burdens. To resolve this, wire mesh was chosen as facade material.

The gymnasium is a indoor flexible competitive event space with seating capacity of 19,000.

Natatorium 游泳馆

The design intent of the pool facility is to provide a comprehensive aquatic sports facility to serve the local community. To further encourage the culture of aquatic sports, retailing associated with water sports is encouraged such as indoor surfing, water spa, spa therapy.
