Strike A Chord strives to celebrate the sincere and joyful accomplishments of secondary school chamber groups from all over Australia. As such, First Round Jurors – Elyane Laussade and Blair Harris – were delighted to present the following encouragement awards to groups that did not progress to the 2021 Grand Final. AMEB Emerging Ensemble Encouragement Award

$1,000 worth of sheet music for a group that shows a need for additional resources, and does not progress to the Finals. ♦ Bellissimo Flute Ensemble, QLD

Innovation Award

For the ensemble who throws the most interesting light on what chamber music can be. For a group that does not progress to the Finals. $500 cash. ♦ Baroque Ensemble, SA

Spirit of Chamber Music Award
