Ableton Live

Ableton Live_Exercise 1 The first exercise consisted of two single-track dimi, and was the first attempt at ableton live. Picked a drumbeat, and then attached other rhythms, but it's not very nice...

Ableton Live_Exercise 2 Because I don’t have any music cells, music is difficult for me, and the randomly made music is not good, so the second exercise is to follow the YouTube tutorial to learn to make.

TouchDesigner exercise 1

When I first started learning, I was completely puzzled, and I had no way to deal with English-language software and complex programs. So for the first exercise, I still went to the tutorial I found on YouTube and followed it step by step. Gradually become familiar with this touchdesigner. This little ball feels very interesting and is controlled by the mouse. And the line behind the ball fluctuates according to the movement of the ball.

TouchDesigner exercise 2

The second exercise I tried music interaction. I want to use music to control the light and dark in the middle. But because it was the first attempt, the music from Ableton Live's second practice was directly embezzled. The music was more complicated, and the changes were not obvious.

TouchDesigner exercise 3

This time I used single track music for better music control interaction. Use three different single track music to control the period, background alpha, rotate at the same time. 〠But the effect is still not the same as imagined. Although the three aspects are controlled by three different single-track music, it is still confusing to mix them together and control them at the same time, and the effect is not very good.

Final interactive project process test

Speaking of voice, I think of the undulating waves, or the mountains. Anyway, it is ups and downs. This time I also used three different single track music to control the wave 's ups and downs and speed. The single track music has been modified. The rhythm of each single track is slower and the music is stronger. Try to make them less chaotic when mixed together, and the effect of wave control is also more obvious.

Final interactive project concept

It wasn’t the theme that was set at the beginning, but it was revised later. This schematic was revised later. The sound is varied and unique. Can be gentle, sharp, low, high... everyone's voice is different. If the sound is visualized, it must be colorful and changeable. You can use any shape and color to realize the sound. It reminds me of the Rubik's Cube, which is amazingly colorful. So my initial idea was to look like a Rubik's Cube, composed of many cubes of various colors, and then use the sound to control it in real time, changing the arrangement and size. Then one week, the professor said it would be interesting to replace the undulating waves with high-rise buildings like my blog background image.

Final interactive project

So in the end, I elongated the cube shape of the cube to a cuboid, then added some changes to look more like a simplified building construction, and then added the moon and the starry sky. This is a more realistic expression. Then use the sound to control the ups and downs of the building in real time. And unexpectedly, this building complex has a little bit like the keys of an accordion or piano when it fluctuates. The moon is made into an automatic sliding mode, and the lower half of the transparency gradually disappears.
