Brief/Session/Document Title Leeds College of Art Degree Show Live Competition Brief 2013 Brief Produce a range of promotional designs for the Leeds College of Art Degree Show Create to be used to advertise the event, with the aspiration to encourage as many people to visit the show as possible, with a varied audience of general public, alumni, local businesses, prospective students, staff and industry. Background / Considerations First held in 1997, the Leeds College of Art degree show has maintained a sterling reputation with local employers, communities and industry for the past fifteen years, with Further Education courses being included as well as Higher Education in June 2000. -
Tone of voice should be friendly, informative, and approachable. Visual communication and identity must remain clear and consistent throughout all promotional materials. A professional- standard, innovative approach should be taken to represent the high standard of work from students and to demonstrate the creative reputation of the College. Consider balance of work in a collaborative brief (with Claudia Griffin) and roles undertaken through specialism within (our) design practice(s).
Mandatory Requirements - Consider audience and appropriate means of visual communication.
Deliverables -
A2 concept boards, concept and content for poster, leaflet and private view invitation.
Winning Submission -
Poster/Leaflet (to fit into A5 envelope) Private View Invitation (to fit into A5 envelope) Ticket stubs (drinks, etc.) Email Invitation (low res graphic, email deliverable)
