This Brief offers you the opportunity to identify, develop and exploit your own individual design identity within the context of contemporary Graphic Design practice. You will be encouraged to make independent choices regarding the focus of your investigation and appropriate resolution of your ideas.

Brief PART 1 - COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE - (lnterim Deadline -27103/2414rr Working in pairs you will focus on the role of the creative team and collaborative approaches to solving design problems. By combining your technical, practical and theoreticalskills (as well as identifying new skills that need to be developed) you will be expected to respond to one of the available YCN national ion briefs (see additional handouts). PART 2 - INDIVIDUAL PRACTICE - (Briefing Date - 2510512012) - * Produce a body of work that investigates your individual practical, conceptual and creative concerns within the filed of Graphic Design - See Additional Handouts for further information. The starting point for this investigation should be one of the D&AD, YCN or ISTD briefs available via E-studio and should be supported by a self-refleclive approach to your own creative and professional ambitions.

Each brief should be supported by a short rationale (200 words) and evaluation of their effectiveness. You should also submit an appropriate amount of development work in support ' of each brief. eFiql r:esolutions should be presented on A2 boards where appropriate
