Upcoming Local Events Community Clothes Swap, Jan. 15th, 10am-4pm, Market at Milton, 1320 Milton Rd, Alton. Join us at Milton Schoolhouse to swap your pre-loved clothing, shoes, and accessories for unlimited, new to you items! The event is $5 to attend if you bring a bag of clothing to swap, or $10 without. Leftover gently used clothing is donated to local charities, while your other worn-out textiles (clothing, shoes, towel, blankets, etc.) are taken to Remains INC. in St. Louis, to ensure they are recycled and kept out of landfills!

Collinsville Community SnowFest '22, Jan. 15th, 8-11:30am, 1498 Vandalia St, Collinsville, IL. 8:00-8:30am-Community Breakfast. Starting @ 8:30- Cardboard Sled Race. Put together a one-of-a-kind sled with a team of friends, family, or coworkers. Entry is $10.00 per sled with all proceeds going to Collinsville Parks. Full Moon Hike, Jan. 17th, 7:30pm, The Nature Institute, 2212 S. Levis Lane, Godfrey. Join us on a night hike through the woods. Easy Turkey Enchiladas Turkey Enchiladas Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutes •1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup (regular or 98% fat free) •1/2 cup sour cream •1 tablespoon butter or margarine •1 medium onion, chopped •1 teaspoon chili powder •2 cups chopped cooked turkey or chicken •1 can (about 4 ounces) chopped green chiles •8 flour tortillas (8-inch), warmed •1 cup shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese MIX soup and sour cream. HEAT butter in saucepan. Add onion and chili powder and cook until tender. Add turkey, chiles and 2 tablespoons soup mixture. SPREAD 1/2 cup soup mixture in 2-quart shallow baking dish. Spoon about 1/4 cup chicken mixture down center of each tortilla. Roll up and place seam-side down in dish. SPOON remaining soup mixture on top. Sprinkle with cheese.
