Homestead Harvest Days 2022, Sept. 9th 11th, 1464 Old Trenton Road, Highland. The Highland Historical Society presents the 34th Annual Homestead Harvest Days at the Louis Latzer Homestead south of Highland. Activities include petting zoo, parade of power, pony rides, barrel rides, corn box for kids, tours of the homestead, music, food, vintage tractors, horses, and more.

Foodstock 2022, Sept 17th, Noon 12am, Cottage Hills VFW. Join us for a day of CommUNITY.Live music, food, activities for the kids and vendors. The heart of the event is our Stack Off challenge which welcomes local business, groups, teams, organizations or simply a group of friends to compete against each other to collect the most nonperishable food donations for local food pantries. $5 entry fee for all ages (children under 3 are free). All proceeds benefit local charities, the Cottage Hills VFW, and one local cancer patient (to be selected) in honor of our late co founder Andrea Davis. No outside food or drink is allowed.

Mississippi Earthtones Festival 2022, Sept. 17th, 12 10pm, Alton Amphitheater. VFW Post 976 1st Annual Oktoberfest! Oct. 8th, 12 10:30pm, Tri Township Park District. This open to the community event is a family friendly, free to enter celebration to bring our communities together and raise money for a great cause. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the VFW National Home for Children. Edwardsville Craft Fair 2022, Nov. 12-13th, EdwardsvilleHigh School. The Tiger Band Art & Craft Fair is an annual arts and craft fair with handcrafted items from over 200 vendors and is sponsored by the Edwardsville Band Boosters.
